The scenic white rock walls vary in height between 80 to 160 feet and provide different levels of difficulty for the climbers; due to the presence of the limestone crags and marble boulders in the river paved the way naming Montalban as the Town of White Mountain. Also features the two (2) big white boulder of mountain (from the left he Mt. Underneath the mountains, the 40ft Wawa Dam flows through with numbers of white monolithic rocks lying along the river. Even more, the town is known for the Pamitinan Cave which is contributory to the history of our country having been the site where Andres Bonifacio together with other seven katipuneros declared the first Independence in 1895 against Spain. The cave still bears the inscription of Andres Bonifacio and his followers” Viva La Independencia Filipinas”. In this dynamic and vibrant town of Montalban, expect only to find a travel destination with warm hospitality of the people and the Town of White Mountain.
