On April 03, 2026, in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus, a day of sorrow, gratitude, and deep faith that reminds Catholics of the price of salvation and the power of love and sacrifice, the faithful servicemen and women of 543rd Engineer Construction Battalion attended the Good Friday Liturgy Mass with profound reverence and solemnity at St. James the Greater Parish church, Allen, Northern Samar.

The sacred service provided an opportunity to reflect on the enduring values of sacrifice, humility, and compassion, principles that resonate deeply in both their spiritual lives and military service. It allowed the personnel to momentarily set aside their operational responsibilities and reconnect with their faith, fostering inner strength and moral clarity.

Immediately following the Mass, the personnel actively participated in the solemn Holy Week procession, demonstrating their unwavering faith and solidarity with the community. Their disciplined presence contributed to the dignity and order of the event as they walked alongside fellow devotees in remembrance of Christโ€™s sacrifices.

This meaningful engagement not only reflected their spiritual devotion beyond the call of duty but also strengthened their bond with the people they serve. Ultimately, their participation underscored a balanced commitment to both service and faith, reinforcing their core values and deepening their sense of community.
