Pacac IS Participates in 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Pacac Integrated School (Pacac IS) successfully conducted the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for Calendar Year 2025 on November 6, 2025, as part of the Department of Education's (DepEd) efforts to promote earthquake preparedness and safety.

The drill, held at 9:00 AM, aimed to enhance the school's disaster response capabilities and ensure the safety of students and staff in the event of an earthquake. The activity was participated in by students, teachers, and school personnel, who followed the standard emergency response protocols, including the "Drop, Cover, and Hold" procedure.

The NSED is conducted quarterly to raise awareness and preparedness among students and staff, and to test the effectiveness of the school's disaster risk reduction and management plans. Pacac IS is committed to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its students and staff, and will continue to conduct regular drills and exercises to ensure readiness in case of emergencies.

Pacac Integrated School Wins Multiple Awards in 2025 District Journalympics

Pacac Integrated School (P*S) bagged several awards in the 2025 District Journalympics of Allacapan North held at Allacapan Central Elementary School.

P*S garnered three third-place finishes in different writing categories. Erush Jeff Calliog, a Grade 6 pupil coached by Kathrina T. Rivera, placed third in Sci-Tech News Writing (Filipino). Nathasia M. Ursua, Grade 6, coached by Jeanyfer T. Dumlao, won third place in Editorial Writing (English), while Rhiane Jayne C. Guzman, a Grade 4 pupil under Rina C. Guzman, secured third place in News Writing (Filipino).

Other P*S representatives also earned notable recognitions. Ghianser L. Pugal (Grade 5) placed fourth in Editorial Writing (Filipino); Rhianne Elyssa U. Pugal (Grade 6) ranked fourth in Editorial Cartooning (English); and Zumiya Naharah M. Oliva (Grade 6) also placed fourth in Editorial Writing (Filipino).

In Feature Writing, Nathaniel R. Taloza (Grade 5) ranked fourth in the Filipino category, while Zyron Zane C. Tabangcura (Grade 5) placed fifth in English. In the Column Writing category, Jean Pearl D. Ulita and Jeffrey D. Pugal, both coached by Jeanyfer T. Dumlao, finished fourth in English and Filipino, respectively.

Meanwhile, Alden Jhiro D. Ulita, a Grade 6 pupil mentored by Jovy R. Elchico, won fifth place in Sports Writing (Filipino).

The annual District Journalympics aims to develop the journalistic skills of young writers and promote excellence in campus journalism across schools in the Allacapan North District.

Pacac Integrated School Commemorates ASEAN Month with Traditional Attire

In accordance with Division Memorandum No. 513, s. 2025, Pacac Integrated School actively participated in the ASEAN-UNESCO Information Drive Month celebration. The faculty and staff embraced the occasion by wearing traditional Asian attire, thereby showcasing the diverse cultural heritage of Southeast Asian nations.

The primary objective of this event was to cultivate cultural awareness and appreciation among the student body, emphasizing the significance of ASEAN unity and cooperation. By encouraging the adoption of traditional clothing, Pacac Integrated School sought to instill in its students a sense of value and respect for the varied cultural backgrounds of ASEAN member states.

This celebration underscores the school's dedication to promoting cultural appreciation and fostering ASEAN unity within the younger generation.
