• UAAP Decathlon Champion: Crowned champion in the demanding decathlon event at the UAAP, showcasing his all-around athletic prowess.

• National Middle & High School Athletics Championships: A consistent performer in national-level competitions.

• Provincial Athletic Meet Gold Medalist: Multiple gold medals in various events, including the 4x400m relay.

• World Athletics Profile: Recognized by World Athletics for his achievements in 400m Hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, and Long Jump.

The Albuera Pickleball Club proudly represented Albuera in the Masonic District R-8 Leyte Pickleball Tournament, competing in the Intermediate Men’s Doubles, Men’s Beginners, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles categories.

Your dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship brought pride and honor to our municipality. To all our players, coaches, and supporters — congratulations and thank you for your hard work and commitment.

The Local Government Unit of Albuera, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Rolan Espinosa, through the Local Youth Development Office headed by Rick Anthony Tolero, successfully conducted the 2-Day Youth Summer Badminton Tournament held on May 6–7, 2026 at the Albuera Gymnasium.

The activity was made possible in collaboration with the Albuera Shuttlers Club led by Mr. Neil Añasco. More than just a competition, the tournament served as an avenue for young badminton enthusiasts to showcase their talents, build friendships, and further strengthen the growing badminton community in the municipality.

The event also encouraged the youth to actively participate in sports and develop important values such as discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. Through activities like this, the LGU continues to promote a healthy, active, and positive lifestyle among the youth of Albuera.

The Local Government Unit headed by Hon. Rolan "Kerwin" Espinosa, through the Local Youth Development Office in collaboration with OCCCI Albuera Branch, invites all aspiring young athletes to join the FREE Basketball Clinic this coming May 15–17, 2026 at the Albuera Gymnasium!

Open to all 17 years old and below.

Come and enhance your basketball skills, learn teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while enjoying the game with fellow young ballers! ⛹️‍♂️🔥

FREE for OCCCI Members of Albuera!

Requirements for the Basketball Clinic:
1.) OCCCI Membership is FREE.
2.) Parents must sign the waiver form for their kids.
3.) The child must be insured in the amount of P70 (Good for 1 year)
4.) The child must have at least 100 pesos deposited in their savings account.
5.) Only those 17 years old and below are qualified.
