Last February 26, 2025, we successfully held the Miting de Avance for the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) elections! 🎤

Due to (1) the continuous moderate to heavy rainfall affecting the Municipality and (2) in anticipation of possible occurrence of flooding in major thoroughfares of Libon that would pose hazard to our learners, I hereby order the SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS for both public and private schools in the Municipality of Libon, Albay tomorrow (January 30, 2025, Thursday).

Furthermore, residents living in landslide prone, low lying areas, flood prone areas, near rivers and water bodies are advised to be alert and evacuate when needed.

Barangay DRRM Committees are also advised to monitor the situation in their respective area of responsibility (AOR) and take appropriate actions.

This declaration recognizes the significance of this festive event for the Filipino-Chinese community and acknowledges its importance in the Philippines.

The Macabugos High School Deped Tayo conducted a Psychological First Aid Kit workshop on Monday, November 4, 2024, for all the learners of Macabugos. The session aimed to equip students with essential skills to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges they may face, especially in today's fast-paced environment, TD Kristine.
