This was the statement of Mark (not his real name), one of the 27 workers who received Php 1,277,039.98 in monetary claims on Thursday through a successful settlement facilitated by the Department of Labor and Employment Bicol โ Albay Provincial Office under the Single Entry Approach (SEnA) Program.
The requesting party filed a request for assistance (RFA) through the said program to recover their monetary claims for 13th-month pay, Unpaid Salary, Salary Differential, and Retirement Benefits. Upon receipt of the request, the Provincial SEnA Desk Officer (SEADO) facilitated conciliation-mediation conferences on April 29 and 30, 2026, which resulted in an amicable settlement covering the agreed monetary amount.
DOLE Bicol Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao emphasized the significance of the program in empowering workers to speak up and find a resolution through dialogue and mutual understanding.

The requesting parties expressed their gratitude for the impartial assistance and guidance provided by the SEnA Desk Officer throughout the settlement proceedings.
