03 September 2026 | National Simultaneous Safety Drill on Active Attack

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director, and the direct supervision of FSUPT JERICKSON P MIRAFLOR, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal, Albay, headed by SFO4 Arnold D Baloloy, Officer-in-Charge, Sto. Domingo Fire Station, personnel of BFP Sto. Domingo Fire Station participated in the National Simultaneous Safety Drill on Active Attack held at San Fernando National High School, San Fernando, Sto. Domingo, Albay.

The activity was participated in by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Philippine National Police (PNP), school personnel and staff, and students, with the BFP Albay Provincial Office serving as one of the Technical Evaluators during the conduct of the drill.

The activity aims to enhance the preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities of agencies and stakeholders in managing active attack scenarios. It also strengthens collaboration among emergency responders and the school community in promoting a safer and more resilient learning environment.

The Bureau of Fire Protection remains committed to strengthening its operational readiness, enhancing inter-agency coordination, and continuously supporting initiatives that promote public safety and community preparedness.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐏 𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Provincial Fire Marshal, Albay, the BFP Sto. Domingo Ambulance and EMS promptly responded to a request for emergency medical assistance at Calayucay, Sto. Domingo, Albay.

The incident involved a 48-year-old male, who was reported by a relative to be unresponsive and not breathing.

The patient was subsequently transported to Ziga Memorial District Hospital for official declaration and appropriate medical procedures.

The BFP Sto. Domingo Ambulance and EMS personnel remain committed to providing prompt emergency response and assistance to the community during times of need.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐏 𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Provincial Fire Marshal, Albay, headed by SFO4 Arnold D Baloloy, Officer-in-Charge, Sto. Domingo Fire Station personnel conducted the regular cleaning and maintenance of the station's fire truck and firefighting equipment.

This routine maintenance ensures that all firefighting apparatus and equipment remain clean, serviceable, and in excellent working condition, guaranteeing operational readiness for immediate response to fire incidents and other emergencies.

Domingo Fire Station operation personnel conducted a water rationing operation at Santo Domingo Community College of Brgy. San Andres.

This initiative aims to provide essential water supply to the school and support the needs of students during periods of water scarcity.

Domingo Fire Station CRU personnel conducted a Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Training at Barangay Nagsiya, Sto. Domingo, Albay as part of the Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan (OLP) – Obligasyon sa Bayan, Ligtas na Pamayanan Program of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

The activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of community members in fire prevention, basic firefighting techniques, and emergency response. Through the establishment and strengthening of CFAG, the program promotes community involvement and preparedness, ensuring a safer and more resilient barangay.

This activity aims to provide essential water supply to the community and support the needs of residents during periods of water shortage.
