Suspension of Classes in Alangalang, Leyte
November 24, 2025

In view of the latest PAGASA rainfall forecast indicating the possibility of heavy rainfall affecting our province due to the shear line and Tropical Cyclone Verbena, and upon the recommendation of our MDRRMO, the Municipality of Alangalang is hereby SUSPENDING CLASSES from Kindergarten to Secondary Level in all public and private schools today, November 24, 2025.

This is to ensure the safety of all our learners and to give ample time for our barangays and families to prepare for possible weather disturbances such as localized flooding, strong winds, and other related hazards.

We ask everyone to remain alert, follow official advisories, and coordinate with your Barangay Officials for any emergency concerns.
