Sa pinakabagong ulat ng PAGASA ENSO Alert System, na-update noong ika-6 ng Agosto 2026, ang Tropical Pacific ay nasa ilalim na ng Katamtamang El Niรฑo. Ayon sa mga modelo ng klima, inaasahang magpapatuloy ito hanggang sa unang bahagi ng 2027, at may posibilidad pang lumakas pa ito sa huling bahagi ng 2026.
