We must direct the MPDO to review our Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP)—focusing on reforestation zones, climate change adaptation, and canal drainage networks—and mandate their prioritization in the 2027 Annual Investment Program (AIP) funded through the 20% Local Development Fund.

If we will have 3 three comparative analysis by numbers, 2026 projects under 20% LDF ay apat lamang ang mga proyekto at ang dalawa dito ay insertion lamang during the en banc deliberation. While in 2024 is 9 and in 2025 is 6, but not sure how many were included in the priority of LEP and how mant are insertion.

We cannot build a resilient Abucay on misplaced soil and recurring mistakes. As the holders of the power of the purse, this Sanggunian allocates municipal funds for the operational expenses of this project. We refuse to waste public resources, time, and the rare presence of dredging equipment on a cycle of "hukay-tambak, inanod-ulit.". Ayaw nating masayang ang pera ng taong bayan, kaya naman. We formally ask the office responsible to explain next session the truthfulness of the allegation.

Public service should not be compressed when the daily needs of our constituents are continuous. Kaya naman, we respectfully request our Local Chief Executive to consider reverting to the standard Five-Day Workweek and direct HRMO, MPDO, and Budget to conduct a joint comparative study on its economic and operational efficiency.

“We need proactive faith development, catechism, and campus youth ministries to build character, empathy, and moral accountability among young Abukeños. Hindi sapat na matalino ang ating mga mag-aaral; kailangan natin silang hubugin bilang mga mamamayang may malasakit at takot sa Diyos.

With these, we are proposing a resolution strongly encouraging all public and private basic education schools in Abucay to welcome catechism classes, values education, and campus youth ministries. Sapagkat sa gitna ng mundong puno ng ligalig, ang pananampalataya at magandang asal ang pinakamatibay na depensa ng ating mga kabataan.”
