INSIGHTS ON THE CONDUCT OF ORIENTATION OF DOLORES–TAYUM TEACHERS ON LEARNING SYSTEM REFORM POLICIES
The successful conduct of the Orientation on Learning System Reform Policies for teachers of the Dolores–Tayum District on May 13,2026, provided a meaningful opportunity to deepen educators’ understanding of current educational reforms and their vital role in achieving quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education.
First and foremost, DepEd Tayo Libtec Elementary School, under the baton of Principal III, Mr. Wendelino T. Arias, extends its sincerest gratitude to all the resource speakers, headed by the Chief Education Supervisor-CID, Ma'am Hedwig M. Belmes, and PSDS Sir Leonardo T. Balneg. Huge thanks go to Sir Amador D. Garcia Sr., PhD, CESO VI, for the inspiring message to the teaching and non-teaching staff.
The activity highlighted the importance of adapting to evolving educational policies and practices to better address the needs of today’s learners. Through the discussions and sharing of ideas, teachers gained valuable insights into the proper implementation of reforms, strengthened collaboration among colleagues, and reaffirmed their commitment to continuous professional growth.
Moreover, the orientation emphasized that educational reforms are not merely changes in policies, but pathways toward improving teaching strategies, learner outcomes, and school effectiveness. It also reminded every teacher of the importance of flexibility, innovation, and dedication in responding to the challenges of the modern educational landscape.
The active participation and engagement of the teachers reflected their willingness to embrace positive change and uphold the mission to deliver accessible, relevant, and high-quality education for all learners.
Indeed, the orientation became a productive and inspiring experience that empowered educators to become more responsive, informed, and committed in carrying out their duties as facilitators of learning and agents of change.
