Your old 2006-001 CAVIUS Smoke alarms will be coming up for renewal soon. Do you know your smoke alarm has an expiry date?

All smoke alarms, no matter the brand or how they are powered (230v mains or battery-operated) are required to be replaced after 10 years due to various factors.

Make sure to check the expiry/replace by date on the underside of your alarm. It might be time to place it into retirement (the best retirement village for a smoke alarm is an e-waste recycling facility).
