Ko te whāinga o ēnei wānanga, he tautoko i tō tātou iwi. He whakapiki i te taha ki ngā tūmanako me te whakamana i te tangata, kia tika ai te huarahi ki te paepae. Mehemea, kei te kāinga koe e noho ana, e hiahia ana rānei ki te tautoko i tō iwi i runga i te marae—ahakoa, he hui ora, he hui mate rānei—māu tonu tēnei.

📅 NGĀ TAIPITOPITO:
• Āhea: Tū ai ngā wānanga e 6 mai i te Hūrae ki te Hakihea, 2026.
• Te raupapa: E 2 haora hei whakarite mō runga ipurangi + me te 3 rā mō te tae ā-tinana (Rāapa ki te Rāmere).
• Kei hea: Ka huri haere te noho ki Waipapa, Oparure, Te Kūiti Pā, me Mangapēhi.
• Ngā Kaiako: Kawe Roes, Te Whainoa Te Wiata, Katarina Turu-Heretaunga, me Natari Emery.

• Format: 2-hour online prep + 3-day physical noho (Wed–Fri).
• Where: Rotating across Waipapa, Oparure, Te Kūiti Pā, and Mangapēhi.

🍃IWI RELEASE - Te Nehenehenui responds to Environment Court decision on Waikato Regional Plan Change 1

Te Nehenehenui acknowledges the release of the final Environment Court decision on the Waikato Regional Plan Change 1 (PC1), a significant milestone in a process that has spanned more than a decade.

Te Nehenehenui Chair, Peter Douglas, says Te Nehenehenui also recognises the contribution of those across the rohe who dedicated many years to advancing Maniapoto interests throughout the PC1 process.

📣Vertical Horizons Certificate in Construction Pre-Trade (High Work – Level 3)

Te Nehenehenui is excited to announce our upcoming August cohort for our Certificate in Construction Pre-Trade (High Work – Level 3) Programme in partnership with Vertical Horizonz NZ.

This program is a great opportunity for registered Maniapoto iwi members who want to gain experience in the area of Construction Pre-Trade (High Work – Level 3), FREE, whilst learning in an engaging and hands-on environment with facilitators who want to see those in the course thrive!

We kickstart our out-of-rohe locations in 📍Kirikiriroa, Hamilton, this evening from 6:00PM at the Distinction Hotel. If you can't make it in person, kei te pai, we will be livestreaming this hui!

Following Hamilton, we're heading to 📍Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, on Tuesday, followed straight after by 📍Te Whanganui-ā-tara, Wellington, on Wednesday.

We've now wrapped up all of our roadshow hui within the rohe, hearing directly from whānau about what matters most to them.

Thank you to everyone who attended, shared whakaaro, asked questions and helped shape the discussion.
