A Heart for the People of Nepal – “Repairer of Broken Hearts” The GHF was founded by Arjun, a man who had himself been orphaned at the age of 11.

After fending for his two younger sisters for half a year, he was noticed by a lady who sent him to an orphanage in Kathmandu - providing them shelter, sustenance and love. From this personal experience of abandonment and desperation transformed by another's simple kindness, came the vision to start a home for children of similar circumstances. ovides educational scholarships to poverty-stricken children. It is also the vision of the GHF to extend their efforts to fight child exploitation and support widowed women.

Happy Birthday Aashika !

We recently celebrated the birthday of a lovely little girl from our children’s home, Aashika. She is originally from Nuwakot district and came to Gentle Heart Children Home two months ago. Due to serious health problems, she was not well cared, so she and her brother were placed here by the local government to ensure they receive proper care and have a brighter future. We were delighted to celebrate her 6th birthday, for the first time in her life with her extended family at GHCH.

Gentle Heart Foundation is dedicated to providing love, care, and support to vulnerable children. With a vision of creating a nurturing environment where every child can grow and flourish, our program has become a source of hope for many children facing difficult circumstances.

Happy Birthday to All !

We celebrated birthday of Prakriti (name changed) and Amar and Aakriti. On the celebration, we are grateful for their courage and resilience to move ahead in lives. They are an example for never give up in their wife. Both mother are raising their child gracefully.

On the celebration, Prakriti (name changed) shared, "Over the past seven years at Gentle Heart Foundation, I’ve been supported in every aspect of my life by God and GHF. During this time, I’ve gained valuable skills, education, maintained good health, and had the joy of raising my daughter with love and care. GHF has always stood by me, every step of the way."

Mother of Amar shared," God and GHF have supported and guided me in raising Amar. I am truly grateful to GHF for giving us this opportunity in our lives, and I sincerely thank God and GHF for their constant support."

Happy Birthday Beautiful Princess Satyata !

Our little girl just turned three ! GHF feels truly grateful to be part of her journey. Everyone gives her lots of love, warm birthday wishes and gifts. Satyata—her name meaning “Truth”—holds such a beautiful and profound significance. She is growing up wonderfully under her mother’s loving care in the Recovery Program. Her mother thanks everyone for the love and care she received here.

Congratulations Children !

Our children from the Recovery Program celebrated “Parents’ Day” with great joy. They were rewarded with certificates and medals for their achievements in various extracurricular activities at school. Our children also presented dance and a poem on the topic of her school. We sincerely thank all our supporters and prayer partners for their generous contributions and continued support in bringing happiness to the children.

Happy Birthday Sahara !
Sahara (Name changed) has just entered a recovery program. At a young age, she experienced exploitation, but she is a devoted mother to her beautiful son and takes great care of him. She is courageous and helpful. Now, she feels hopeful about her future. She shared, "I feel so overwhelmed by the love I’m receiving here. Everyone takes such good care of me, and I’m truly grateful to be surrounded by so much kindness and affection."

Gentle Heart Foundation is dedicated to the transformation journey of young girls and women who have suffered from traumatic sexual violence and abuse which is achieved through education, empowerment, and skill development training that helps them to reintegrate into society with dignity.

Happy Birthday Samita !

Samita (name changed) recently joined the recovery program after enduring exploitation at a young age, which led to the birth of her son. For a long time, life felt overwhelming and without hope. Today, however, she embraces a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude for the fresh start she has been given. She celebrated her birthday surrounded by a GHF family who cares deeply for her. They honored her warm, friendly spirit, love and devotion she shows as a mother.

The Recovery Program is a hope for the women who are sexually exploited, high risk of exploitation and human trafficking.

You can also become a part of their HOPE. Together we can make a difference.

Happy Birthday, Prabha !

Prabha (name changed) was abandoned during her childhood. She was forced into child labor, where she also suffered exploitation. She does not know her actual date of birth, so we celebrate her birthday on the day she joined the recovery program, believing it to be the beginning of her new life. She shares, "When I was young, I was caught in an accident, and there was no one to help me. But one kind sister saw me and took me to the hospital. Now I realize that it was God’s plan to save me and give me a new life. I am deeply grateful to GHF for giving me not just shelter, but a loving home. God has shown me a true path in life. If God had not saved me and bring me to GHF, I cannot imagine what might have happened to me. I was given the opportunity to learn many things. Once, I could not even speak for myself, but today I can raise my voice for others."

Happy Birthday Beautiful Aasha !

When her mother became pregnant, the journey was not easy. She was referred to the GHF Recovery Program, where she received care and support. She later gave birth to Aasha, a name that means “hope.”

Today, Aasha is growing beautifully in Gentle Heart Children Home (GHCH) and is currently studying in Grade 5. She loves dancing and reading books. She is deeply grateful to GHF for the love and support she has received. She especially enjoys celebrating her birthday with her brothers and sisters at GHCH.

Happy Birthday Aasha ! We wish you all the best as you embark your journey of life.

Happy Birthday Angela !

Little Angela is mischievous and adorable, and her smile brings joy to everyone around her. She has turned three today. It is such a wonderful time to celebrate her birthday and her mother was equally excited to celebrate this special day. She shared, “I want to thank God for my daughter. She is now 3 years old, and earlier I never imagined that I would raise her this way. She is very active, and God has kept her safe. She has a curious nature and loves to praise and worship God. Even at such a young age, she has the confidence to dance on stage. I truly love watching her dance."

Engaging in project-based work allows them to explore new concepts, apply what they have learned, and develop a deeper understanding of each subject. This hands-on approach not only supports their personal growth but also builds confidence as they progress through their recovery journey.”
