Political Activities & Achievements
• Harka Raj Rai was elected Mayor of Dharan in the 2022 local election. Although he ran as an independent candidate, he is associated with the Shram Sanskriti Party. 
• Under his leadership, one notable project is Shram Sanskriti Park in Dharan. This park between wards 13 and 20 by the Sardukhardu River is built via community volunteer labour, and has several themed areas, gardens, statues, etc.
