MD of NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, Honoured as One of Africa’s 100 Notable Peace Icons

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku, has been honoured as 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, during a ceremony in Port Harcourt.

The convener of the award, Kingsley Amafibe, praised Chief Ogbuku for his outstanding leadership, commitment to peace-building, and contributions to sustainable development in the Niger Delta region.

He noted that Ogbuku’s dedication to fostering unity and stability made him a worthy recipient of the prestigious recognition.

In his remarks, Chief Samuel Ogbuku expressed gratitude to the organizers, saying the award was a call to do even more for the peace and progress of the Niger Delta. He dedicated the honour to the people of the region and reaffirmed his resolve to continue promoting harmony, inclusiveness, and development.
