THE CONSEQUENCES OF POLITICAL IGNORANCE: A NATION’S SILENT KILLER

Political ignorance is not just a weakness it is a national disease that eats into the very soul of a people. It blinds citizens to the truth, chains them to manipulation, and hands their future to those who trade in lies and deceit. A politically ignorant society does not just fail to choose the right leaders; it fails to even recognise what good leadership looks like.

1. EFFECTS ON THE PEOPLE
When people lack political knowledge, they:
• Vote based on ethnicity, religion, or handouts rather than competence and vision.
• Accept crumbs from politicians as development, mistaking token gestures for governance.
• Become tools in the hands of corrupt leaders, easily mobilised for violence or propaganda.
• Lose their voice and power, allowing oppression to become a normal way of life.
A politically ignorant people celebrate their oppressors and mock their liberators, living in a cycle of dependency and deceit.

2. EFFECTS ON THE ECONOMY
Political ignorance breeds:
• Mismanagement of resources, as leaders feel no pressure to be accountable.
• Endless corruption that drains national wealth into private pockets.
• A lack of visionary economic policies, because citizens do not demand performance.
• Poor investment climate, as instability and weak institutions scare away growth.
The economy of a politically ignorant nation becomes a cash cow for the elite, while the masses fight over leftovers.

3. EFFECTS ON DEVELOPMENT
Where political ignorance reigns:
• Roads, schools, hospitals, and industries remain in decay.
• Leaders focus on short-term showmanship instead of long-term transformation.
• Innovation and progress are stifled because development is not a public demand.
• Projects are abandoned, and policies lack continuity after elections.
Political ignorance is the reason natural wealth does not translate into public prosperity.

4. EFFECTS ON POLITICAL REALIGNMENT
Political ignorance prevents:
• The formation of strong alliances that could challenge entrenched power structures.
• Citizens from uniting around issues, choosing instead to divide along tribal or religious lines.
• Progressive leaders from emerging, as political space remains dominated by recycled failures.
It sustains the dominance of the same political actors who have mastered the art of exploiting the uninformed majority.

THE REMEDY
1. Mass Political Education Citizens must be taught their rights, the power of their vote, and how governance works.
2. Accountability Movements Create platforms to monitor, expose, and challenge leaders who fail to deliver.
3. Issue-Based Politics Shift focus from personalities to policies, from tribalism to tangible results.
4. Active Citizen Participation From town halls to legislative petitions, the people must reclaim their political voice.

FINAL WORD
Political ignorance is the silent architect of poverty, corruption, and underdevelopment. The cure is awareness, unity, and courageous action. A people who refuse to learn will always be ruled by those who refuse to serve.

THE MYSTICAL CIRCLE OF OUR POLITICS.

A Nation Trapped in a Ritual of Recycled Failure and Enchanted Deception

In Nigeria and across many parts of Africa, politics has evolved not into a tool for service and transformation, but into a mystical circle: a closed, darkened loop where power rotates among the same hands, the same families, the same deceivers guided not by vision or merit, but by secrecy, sorcery, manipulation, and unbroken covenants of betrayal.
This mystical circle is not a symbol of wisdom it is a shrine of stagnation.
It is a spiritual, cultural, and psychological entrapment, where politics becomes a ritual of illusion, and leadership becomes the domain of those who swear allegiance to hidden altars not to the people.

WHAT IS THE MYSTICAL CIRCLE OF OUR POLITICS?
• A cycle where the same corrupt figures are recycled under new banners and slogans.
• A network where power is transferred, not earned kept within a covenant of deception.
• A system where public offices are accessed through rituals, cultism, and blood oaths, not through competence or integrity.
• A platform where truth is silenced, and only those who bow to the circle are allowed to rise.
It is mystical because it cannot be questioned without consequence. It is circular because it leads nowhere.

THE EFFECT ON SOCIETY
• Citizens become hypnotised by slogans but see no real change.
• Society loses its ability to question fear, apathy, and hopelessness take over.
• Youths lose faith in hard work and turn to quick riches, crime, or emigration.
• The moral compass of the nation is shattered because the people they should look up to are part of the deceit.
The mystical circle teaches society that truth is dangerous, and lies are profitable.

THE EFFECT ON DEMOCRACY
• Democracy becomes a spiritual drama where candidates are not selected by delegates, but by the circle.
• Political parties lack ideology only rituals of endorsement and puppeteering.
• Elections are symbolic, not strategic. The outcome is decided before the ballot is printed.
The mystical circle turns democracy into a ritual of recycled wickedness, camouflaged by celebration and media propaganda.

THE EFFECT ON DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
• Policies are made for profit, not people.
• Projects are initiated to funnel money back to the circle — not to serve the masses.
• Social services are underfunded, mismanaged, or weaponised for political control.
• Development is declared on paper, but poverty deepens in reality.
A nation trapped in a mystical circle cannot grow because growth requires openness, truth, and accountability.

THE EFFECT ON ACCOUNTABILITY AND ADMINISTRATION
• Audits are dead on arrival.
• Whistleblowers are hunted.
• Administrators serve the circle not the citizens.
• Institutions become puppets in the hands of invisible masters.
The mystical circle protects its own and punishes outsiders. There is no room for conscience. Only loyalty to the covenant.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF POLITICAL MYSTICISM
• Collapse of public trust in government
• Institutional decay and widespread injustice
• Moral confusion in the younger generation
• National progress reduced to propaganda
• Violent backlash through unrest, separatism, or total apathy
A country ruled by a mystical political circle will drain its people spiritually, mentally, and economically, while pretending to advance.

REMEDIES:
BREAKING THE MYSTICAL CIRCLE
1. Expose the Network
The circle thrives in darkness. Shine the light of truth. Let investigative journalism, civic activism, and cultural leaders speak out.
Name the betrayers. Break the silence.
2. Reconstruct the Leadership Recruitment System
Only men and women of verifiable character and performance history should be allowed into public office. Create a new vetting structure based on service, not spiritual secrecy.
3. Reorient the Masses through Political Education
The people must stop voting for charm. They must vote for character. Teach them to recognise performance, not personality cults.
4. Spiritual Cleansing of Public Institutions
Let every political aspirant take both constitutional and traditional oaths not just before men, but before the gods of their land. Let the land judge those who break their vows.
5. Restore Meritocracy
Destroy the altar of nepotism and mediocrity. Reward hard work, competence, and patriotism — not those who kneel in the circle of corruption.

MERIT: THE KEY TO BREAK THE CIRCLE
Merit is the hammer that shatters mystical politics.
When leaders are chosen by what they can do, not who they know or where they kneel, the circle will collapse.
When governance is built on results, not rituals, the people will breathe again.

CONCLUSION: DESTROY THE MYSTICAL CIRCLE, REBUILD THE REPUBLIC
This is the time to break the enchantment.
The time to interrupt the ritual.
The time to burn the circle and raise a new altar the altar of truth, service, justice, and merit.
Let our politics be cleansed.
Let the people rise.
Let power return to the citizens not the cults.
Let governance become sacred again.
Enough of shadows. Enough of cycles. Enough of circles. Let Nigeria walk in the straight path of light, justice, and progress.

We can do it together

Marcus Garvey was one of the greatest Black leaders we ever had. He organized more Black people than any other Black leader in the world. Marcus Garvey said that Black people will never become successful depending on w.hites or other races of people, he said that as Black people we must come together and do for self. I'm going to list some of Marcus Garvey's achievements.

1. Marcus Garvey built factories, and his factories made clothes and they also made black dolls for black kids to play with.

2. He built a hotel.

3. He built a chain of grocery stores.

4. His organization had their own trucking company.

5. He built schools.

6. He built restaurants.

7. His organization had their own printing press.

8. He started 3 newspapers.

9. His main newspaper was called the Negro World, and that newspaper was published in English, Spanish and French.

10. His organization bought 3 ships and they started practicing international trade and commerce.

11. Marcus Garvey's organization owned office buildings.

12. His organization also bought an auditorium in New York, and that's where Garvey did most of his speaking and that place was called Liberty Hall.

13. By 1922 Marcus Garvey organization had 6 million members.

14. His organization had over 900 branches in 40 different countries.

15. Marcus Garvey also started his own political party, and he named it The Peoples Political Party.

16. Marcus Garvey was the first black leader that changed the (mindset) of black people. He taught blacks to love themselves, and he taught us to be proud of the way that God made us.

17. Kwame Nkrumah became the first president of Ghana, and he said that Marcus Garvey was his hero and his biggest influence. Nkrumah named Ghana's shipping line the Black Star Shipping line in honour of Marcus Garvey. He also named Ghana's soccer team the Black Stars.

18. Jomo Kenyatta became the first president of Kenya, and he also said that Marcus Garvey was a major influence on him.

19. Nnamdi Azikiwe became the first president of Nigeria, and said that Marcus Garvey was a major influence on him. He said that reading Garvey's Negro World shaped his view.

20. Julius Nyerere became the first president of Tanzania, and he also said that Garvey's teachings was a major influence on him.

21. Malcolm X parents were members of Marcus Garvey's organization.

22. The honorable Elijah Muhammad the leader of the Nation of Islam praised Marcus Garvey. He said that Garvey was the forerunner and laid the foundation for what the Nation of Islam is doing. He said that they are carrying on the work of Garvey.

23. Marcus Garvey said that his organization employed 1000's of people through the businesses that they created.

Marcus Garvey did all of that without any help from w.hite people or the Government, He did this during a time when there were no t.elevisions or co.mputers." Up you might race you can accomplish what you will. By connecting to our birthright of greatness. Our history connects to the first doctors scientists mathematicians.. Greatness!!!!

Don't you think our generation must come together to do more for ourselves and the next generations?

RIGHTS TO GOOD GOVERNANCE SOLD FOR A MORSEL OF BREAD
"I came to offer my services to Nigerians free of charge through the platform of PDP but PDP decided to sell it to the highest bidder. I did not steal government money and I have no intentions to stealing it in the future.

Nigerians have suffered so much as a result of this type of politics of buying political offices.

This is the reason why Nigerians cannot hold their leaders accountable for failure because they have sold their rights to good governance over a morsel of bread.

I left PDP in order to change this narrative".

Greetings to you all distinguished and respected members of this platform.
I seek the attainment of political power through legitimate, democratic and constitutional means for the purpose of building an egalitarian society predicated on the principles of equity, freedom and social justice and security.
Through the observance of open democratic process in all organs of the Party, Government, State and to defend the sovereignty of the people. For the development of the Nigerian(Ijaw) youth through the establishment and sustenance of social, cultural and youth engagement activities.
And the development of leadership capable of effectively managing national institutions and resources,as well as creating conditions for the development of politcal potentials of all.
Philosophers have always interpreted the world in various ways. The point of all is to change it. A political mandate is required to transform our economic strength for the benefit of all.
It is for this political mandate that I earnestly seek your support and votes in the Burutu Federal constituency Elections 2023, February 25th
