DAY 3 MORNING MEDITATION
The Camp Director, Mr. Yahuza Isa Adamu, while addressing the Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), encouraged them to adhere strictly to the camp schedule and participate actively in all orientation course activities.
Earlier, the morning meditation was delivered by the Head of Publicity and Relations, Mrs. Victoria Ogwuche. Speaking on the topic "Patriotism," she urged the corps members to cultivate love for their country, demonstrate commitment to national service, and contribute positively to the development of their host communities and Nigeria at large.
She emphasized that patriotism is reflected in responsible citizenship, respect for national values, and selfless service to the nation.

Benue PCMs Participate in First Morning Meditation

Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) of the 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course in Benue State participated in their first morning meditation at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area.

The Camp Director, Mr. Yahuza Issa Adamu, charged the corps members to uphold the core Nigerian values of respect, unity, and solidarity in order to foster peaceful coexistence in camp. He also highlighted the approved dress code and emphasized the importance of compliance as part of maintaining discipline during the orientation programme.

Earlier, Mrs. Victoria Ogwuche, Head of the Publicity and Protocols Committee, briefed them on camp guidelines and the organizational structure of the NYSC and taught the NYSC and National Anthems, as well as the pattern of morning meditation in camp. She urged the PCMs to conduct themselves responsibly throughout the orientation exercise and adhere strictly to camp regulations.

The session provided the PCMs with essential information to guide their conduct and participation throughout the orientation course.

NYSC Prospective Corps Members Receive Warm Welcome as Registration Commences in Benue Camp

Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) deployed to Benue State for the 2026 Batch B stream 1 Orientation Course arrived at the NYSC Orientation Camp on Wednesday morning and were promptly received by camp officials as registration commenced immediately upon their arrival.

The well-organized registration process ensured that the incoming PCMs were attended to without delay, allowing for a smooth and seamless commencement of camp activities. Officials were on ground to guide the prospective corps members through the registration procedures, ensuring their comfort and convenience.

The State Coordinator, Mrs Veronica Garba, was present to personally receive the PCMs. Demonstrating exceptional care and commitment to their welfare, she joined camp staff in distributing snacks to the newly arrived corps members, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The gesture was warmly appreciated by the PCMs, many of whom expressed excitement and confidence that their stay in camp would be a memorable and rewarding experience. The prompt registration process and cordial reception further boosted their enthusiasm as they begin the orientation programme.

The arrival and successful registration of the prospective corps members mark the beginning of activities for the orientation course, which is aimed at preparing them for national service through programmes that promote unity, leadership, discipline, and community development.
