*HIGHLIGHT OF OBI-DATTI GRASSROOT FOOTBALL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN ITAM, ITU LGA ON THE 5TH OF JANUARY 2023*
The Atmosphere surrounding the Popular QIC Primary school a.k.a St Ebuk Park, by Itam flyover was so friendly and cool.
At 3pm, dieheart fans of Itam Selected Stars were already trooping into their home stadium in anticipation of an encounter with Obi-Datti Fc a football team made up of Obidient stars and talents.
However, the loud Obi kerernke music vibrating from the DJ's speakers reminded the fans and large number of spectators that the football they are about to see was their date with destiny as the Obi-Datti campaign messages gave them hope of a new Nigeria where poverty and joblessness in the land will be a thing of the past with Peter Obi as the President of the federal Republic of Nigeria and Uduak Udoh the Governor of Akwaibom State.
Dressed on Yellow and black jerseys, , the home Team of Itam Selected Stars ran into the pitch and did some fitness warm up while the Visiting Obi-Datti Fc kitted with red and black Jerseys joined their Friends on the field as match officials prepared the ground for kickoff.
First half Kickoff was performed by Comrade Edet Adams, the LP Candidate contesting for Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency.
8 minutes after kickoff, Obi-Datti FC opened the scoreline after their star player Bafana Bafana scored from the penalty spot to give Obi-Datti Fc the lead.
The early goal from Obi-Datti Fc only succeeded to add fuel to the engine box of the Itam Selected Stars as one of their strikers equalised almost immediately to cut short the joy of the Obi-Datti fans who were amazed by the top quality of the goal scored by the home team.
The football match gathered more momentum as both teams played their heart out while the match commentary from a local community football commentator was thrilling and entertaining.
"It's a goooal".... The commentator goes loud as the home team scores their second goal just before the end of the first 45 minutes. And that's how the first half ended with Itam Selected Stars leading with 2 goals.

The Second half witnessed the arrival of the Governorship Candidate of LP in Akwaibom State, Mr Uduak Udoh who stormed into the QIC primary school field together with a long convoy of his supporters.
Second half official kickoff was performed by His Excellency, the LP Governorship candidate Mr Uduak Udoh who used the occasion to speak to the Youths of Itam Community.
The Governorship candidate of LP explained in details to the young people his manifesto and how his government will provide jobs and prosperity to the people of Akwaibom State.
He promised to invest massively in sports by building a sport Village fully equipped with standard facilities where Youths with various sporting skills will be developed and trained to compete within and outside the country.
The young center referee blew his whistle to kick-start the second 45 minute of the friendly football match between Itam Selected Stars and Obi-Datti Fc.
The MC of the event Engr Otoabasi Ntiah who is the Director of mobilization Obi-Datti PCC Akwaibom state took charge of the Microphone and introduced all the dignitaries present at the event.
The DG of Obi-Datti PCC Akwaibom State Captain Augustin Okon appreciated the people of Itam community for coming out to support the Obi-Datti movement and encouraged young people to get their PVC and vote Peter obi for President, Uduak Udoh for Governor and all other LP candidates on election day.
The LP Candidate for Itu state Constituency, DG Uduak Udoh campaign Council and NLC rep were given opportunity to talk to the people of Itam community.
The PAPA, MAMA AND PIKIN LOGO of LP was explained to the people and it was obvious that Labour Party will win all elections in Itu LGA from top to bottom.
Also present at the Campaign ground was the Director of Administration PCC, Director of Security PCC and Director of Transport PCC.
Putting our eyes back to the football game inspite of the engaging LP campaigns going on at the stands of the pitch, we could see the intense pressure on Obi-Datti team as the Home team of Itam Selected stars continued to display good football with determination to have another goal but they constantly met strong resistance from the back line of Obi-Datti Fc who had to change their formation into a more defensive block with a strategy to counter attack the home team at any slightest opportunity.
Finally the defense of Obi-Datti fc was broken and Itam Selected Stars slotted in another goal after a well worked out play by one of their foreign based stars who plays his club football in Turkey.
That was the 3rd goal scored by the home team and the 4th goal of the match.
The game continued with lot of skills and passes and the determination of the Obi-Datti Fc team paid off as they were awarded a penalty few minutes to the end of the second half.
The penalty was well taken by Obi-Datti Fc and they got their second goal of the match.

It was really an exciting game of football.
The objectives of the event was to create an opportunity for LP and Obi-Datti campaign team to interact with the people of Itam community and that was achieved.
The LOGO of LP was explained to the people and contacts of the locals who wanted to identify fully with LP was jotted down for follow up.
We appreciate the LP governorship candidate Mr Uduak Udoh for his support and physical presence at the event.

Kudos to the LP candidates of Itu and Ibiono who gave us their support.

We appreciate all lovers of Peter Obi, Uduak Udoh and LP in Akwaibom state for coming out to preach the message of hope to Akwaibom people.
