Nasir Zarummai, one of the commissioners in Sokoto State has been reported dead just one month to his 43rd birthday.
According to a report by Daily Post, Zarummai, who is the Commissioner for Science and Technology, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Usmanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
Zarummai's death was further announced to political society in the state in a statement released by the Media Assistant to the All Progressives Congress, APC in Sokoto, Bashar I. Jabo on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
“It is with deep regret that I have to announce the death of Hon. Nasir Zarummai (Commissioner Of Science & Technology, Sokoto State) who passed away last night, 4th of March 2016 at Usmanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital after a brief illness. May his soul rest in peace!” the statement read.
