The Federal Government has approved ₦32.9 billion for the Quarter 4, 2025 BHCPF disbursement, reaffirming its commitment to sustained financing of primary healthcare.

The approval, reached at the 13th Ministerial Oversight Committee (MOC) Meeting, aligns with the BHCPF 2.0 Guideline and supports equitable access to quality healthcare services across Nigeria.

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare convened the 12th Ministerial Oversight Committee (MOC) Meeting in Abuja — bringing together key players from the BHCPF gateways, development partners, and state representatives to strengthen accountability and coordination in Nigeria’s health sector.

The highlight of the meeting was the official unveiling of the BHCPF 2.0 Revised Guideline, commissioned by the Honourable Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, and the announcement of ₦32.9 billion to be disbursed under the new guideline to improve access to quality primary health care across all states.
