IPOB, a Branch Of PDP Behind Insecurity In S’east – Joe Igbokwe Alleges

Chief Joe Igbokwe, a former APC chieftain in Lagos State, has alleged that PDP sponsored the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in 2015 after losing election.

He made this allegation while urging Igbo people to stand up and fight for home.

“Every man in Igboland must stand up and chase these bandits and criminals out of Igboland and take back our South East, the land of the rising sun.
,
Nobody has a monopoly of violence. Force respects force. The language these bandits or Boko Haram of South East will understand now is dialogue on an equal basis.

"Option two is for all the stakeholders I listed above to visit the President in Abuja and request for security to protect lives and property,” he said.

Igbokwe added

“I have done my duty to Igboland. Do yours now or we lose everything to criminals and bandits."

The New COAS can be from South East, If.

The most senior military officer(a likely successor of Attahiru as the chief Of Army Staff -Major General Ben Ahanotu is currently the Chief of Policy and Plan of the Nigerian Army.

Mr Ahanotu, a major general and refined military officer hails from Ukpor in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State, is a member of regular course 35, same as the late Mr Attahiru.

He was the commander of the military operation that captured the founder of Boko Haram, Mohammed Yusuf, and his followers at their hideout in Maiduguri in 2009 before handing them over to the police.

All fingers remain crossed as we await the CinC announcement

Public Notice

The TC Chairman of Nnewi South LGA Hon. Engr. Chieloka Okoye* hereby urges compliance from the Good and Peace loving people of Nnewi South LGA to the directives from both the State and Federal Governments in the battle against the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, which are as follows;

1. Except in extremely necessary situations, Stay at home.

2. Wearing of Face Mask is now compulsory. It an offence not to wear a Face Mask in public henceforth.

3. Persons accompanying co**ses coming from outside Anambra State for burial *MUST* self isolate for 14 days before mingling with those residing in Anambra State. The burial is to take place same day & not more than 30 persons are expected to witness the burial.
*NB: Mortuaries in Anambra State are prohibited from accepting such co**se.*

4. Practice Social Distancing everywhere.

5. Ensure that you wash your hands regularly with soap and running water or use alcohol-based hand Sanitizers.

6. *Ndi Igwe & PG's are directed to ensure compliance in their various communities.*

7. Call the State Health Emergency Operations Hotlines if you observe any symptoms of Coronavirus... Call 0903 472 8047 or SMS 0907 428 5546 or WhatsApp 0903 380 5959.

Finally. The Federal Government has imposed a *Curfew* from *8pm* to *6am* daily starting from *Monday 04/05/2020* Nationwide, ALL forms of movement are restricted within this period in Nnewi South LGA.

Bravo! Our Chairman is Plus One.....

It is with uncommon and unfathomable joy that we, the entire members of 'Government and People of Nnewi South' felicitate and celebrate with our dear Local Government Chairman, Hon. Chieloka Henry Okoye as he clocked a year older today.

Born on 4th May decades ago, Hon. Chieloka is a quintessential leader cm patriot.

A humble man to the core, he is both peaceful and impactful, and has always manifested these in all his outings, both political and non-political.

It would be recalled that, for the first time in history, essay writing competitions were flagged off over the weekend for the people of Nnewi South L.G.A., with many mouth-watering prizes, courtesy of Hon. Chieloka, to herald his birthday.
This, in addition to all other giant strides he has made in piloting the affairs of the Local Government.

It is in the spirit of appreciation for this that we, the entire members of this worthy platform, celebrate and felicitate with this noble Mayor, as he clocked a year older.

To this end, we join voice to say 'Happy Birthday' to you sir.

May the Almighty continue to strengthen, protect and imbue you with more wisdom and vision to continually lead the people aright .

WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF MAY 2020, HAPPY WORKERS DAY...

I want to appreciate you for your support and cooperation in the past few weeks.

Your compliance with the Government directives, which were measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the state, is highly commendable.

Your role is indisputably integral to the success attained so far, in this COVID-19 fight.

We shall release the full list of Nnewi South indigenes, who made donations of cash, food items and materials to their Villages, Communities, Nnewi South LGA, and Anambra State, to cushion the effect of the Lockdown in Anambra State.

Umunne'm, the fight is however not over, as we must continue to abide by the following:

The principles of Social Distancing,

Hand washing with soap, for at least 20 seconds,

The use of Alcohol Based Hand Sanitizer,

Eat Healthy and Exercise.

The afore is the new reality of our world.
Therefore, to stay safe, to protect our families and the larger society, we need to conform to them.

Movement within Anambra State has reopened,
Anambra State boundaries with neighbouring states remain closed.

The exception are people on essential services and haulage trucks carrying essential commodities.

Civil Servants and Markets in Anambra State are to resume work on Monday; 4th May 2020.
