JARO EGBO SWEARS IN NEWLY ELECTED OWEVWE COMMUNITY EXECUTIVES, CHARGES THEM ON LEGACY OF SERVICE

The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC, today Monday officially swore in the newly elected executives of Owevwe Community, led by the newly elected President, Comrade Newword Ehre, at his office in Ughelli.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, Barr. Egbo warmly welcomed the new executives and congratulated them on their successful emergence through a peaceful and credible electoral process.
He commended the people of Owevwe Community for their exemplary conduct before, during, and after the election, describing it as one of the most peaceful and best community elections conducted since he assumed office as Executive Chairman.
According to him, the peaceful atmosphere that characterized the election reflects the maturity, unity, and commitment of the community towards sustainable development and progress.
Barr. Jaro Egbo urged the newly inaugurated executives to see their election as a call to service and an opportunity to leave lasting legacies that would positively impact the lives of the people. He advised them to embark on meaningful projects and initiatives that would bring development to the community and create opportunities for future generations.
"The positions you occupy today are positions of trust. I encourage you to work selflessly, promote peace, unity, and development, and undertake projects that will make the people remember your administration long after your tenure has ended.
Let your leadership open doors for your children and generations yet unborn, and ensure that at the end of your tenure, you can proudly give a good account of your stewardship," he stated.
Responding on behalf of the newly elected executives, the President of Owevwe Community, Comrade Newword Ehre, expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Chairman for ensuring a free, fair, and peaceful election process that has strengthened unity and stability within the community.
He also appreciated his opponents, community elders, stakeholders, youths, women, and all residents of Owevwe Community for their support, cooperation, and contributions towards the successful conduct of the election.
Comrade Ehre pledged that the new executive would work diligently to justify the confidence reposed in them by the people and remain committed to the development, peace, and progress of Owevwe Community.
The highlight of the event was the official administration of the oath of office and swearing-in of the newly elected executives by the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC.
