Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Friday urged lawmakers, both at the federal and state levels from the state, to work assiduously to actualise the presidential ambition of Chief Bola Tinubu.

Sanwo-Olu gave the advice in Ikeja, during the 17th Edition of the Executive/Legislative Parley, with the theme: ”Mobilizing Citizens as a Social Capital Towards 2023 General Elections, NAN reports.

He said that Tinubu had selflessly given himself to the people of Lagos during his tenure as the governor, and to Nigeria as a whole, and recorded many achievements.

”This, indeed, is the time to pay him back with our unwavering support. He is, no doubt, the right and best man for the job. He knows the issues plaguing our nation like the back of his hands and he has the magic wand to fix it.

”So, because of our Apex leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it is time for us to take Lagos to Nigeria agenda. It is time for us to work assiduously and ensure that all of these successes in Lagos can be reflected in Nigeria as a whole.

”That is why I am calling on all of us to ensure that we do everything we can do politically and otherwise, to ensure that we can help to activate and actualise the next president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

”Let us rally behind our great party, the All Progressives Congress, let us rally behind the great man that indeed, we believe can help us take our country to the next level,” he said.

The governor commended the lawmakers for efforts made at attaining the remarkable strides his administration achieved in the last two and half years.

Aregbesola: Tinubu Doesn't Play God, He's Just Large Hearted.
The claim that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is playing God has been refuted by the people and Asiwaju’s fellow constituents of Ikeja Federal Constituency
Former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, while speaking at different political rallies in Ilesa and Iwo towns of Osun State, accused the former Governor of Lagos State of trying to play God in his actions and utterances.
Reacting to the statement, the Lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke, on behalf of the people of the Constituency, disagreed with Aregbesola completely.
Rather, he said Aregbesola has unfortunately allowed his present personal opinions, interests and emotions to becloud his reasoning, beliefs and the teachings of his religion.
When many of us including and especially Hon Aregbesola and our families look back to pre-1999 and see the level we were,and how God has used this same Asiwaju's selfless efforts, sagacity, intellect, and money to mentor and promote us, we should be eternally grateful to God instead of engaging in ego tripping ! If for once we fail to have everything our way as before, we should be humble enough to appreciate the fact that we can't win all the time.
God will not come down physically but will use people to help us to achieve our goals and that role of destiny helper is what Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been and is still playing.

With various political allies making strategic moves towards the much expected 2023 presidential, the director-general of the Tinubu Support Organisation has visited the minister of education, Adamu Adamu. Aminu Suleiman visited the minister at his Abuja residence where he also informed Adamu of the organisation's move to appoint him the patron of the TSO.

Handing over his appointment letter, Suleiman who was accompanied by the Federal Capital Territory coordinator of the TSO and other officials of the organization were warmly received by the minister and his staff.

In a post made on Facebook, Suleiman told the minister that his team were at his residence to pay homage on behalf of the millions of members of TSO across the country and those in the diaspora. According to Suleiman, the visit became necessary as the organisation understands the strong bond that exists between the Adamu and the former governor of Lagos state, Bola Tinubu. Aminu also informed the minister that the TBO is in need of his support while it continues to take the legacies of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to each and every Nigerian house.

Listing successes recorded so far by the organisation, Suleiman and his team made a gift presentation of a pillow with an embroidered photograph of Tinubu and TSO to Adamu. In his reaction, Adamu appreciated the TSO DG and his team for the visit while encouraging them to do more towards the actualisation of Tinubu's presidential ambition.

Mohammed Ali was a great boxer, he punched you once, he ran away, he made you angry so much that you lose your focus and balance, then he would hit you hard..Those who must beat him must never be angry or lose focus while fighting, keep your strategy to yourself....win some, lose some, that's politics but you must strive to win all but you can never win all.....

The minute of the last meeting.Held on 28th Jan.2022.

OPENING The meeting commenced at exactly 4:40pm with opening prayer being said by Mrs Dupe Odediran.

WELCOMING SPEECH The coordinator welcomed all participants to the meeting,he appreciated the love and concern for the party APC and BAT in his bid for becoming the next president our country Nigeria.He sized this opportunity to thank those that attended the last meeting cm his 61st Bday,shown his big appreciation for their Goodwill messages.
He reiterated the purpose of this meeting and explain the mind of the initiators.Series of questions were raised and he answered all to the satisfaction of all members.

OFFICERS This body has a a template and hierarchy,each state is to have executives down to the LG as the national body stipulated it.He went further to say that few office holders pronunced, appointed and elected at the last meeting remains while the vacancies will soon be filled up after due consultations.

AWARENESS This was raised and mandated all members to see it as duty to perform,at this juncture, members requested for fund to facilitate the move as that remains solid tool in politics all over the world, the coordinator in his response assured the house that such will surely follow but not now,he promised the house that no one will labour in vain here,he made it open that everything here today including the menu were single handedly financed by him,he encouraged the house to give their times,talents and treasures at this prime stage of the movement.

PARTY LEADERS Some members of the APC executives at various level were at the meeting,some were allowed to speak and the summary of it all were to support BAT.

Issue of SWAGA was raised,the coordinator responded that they are not our rival but partners in progress,since many roads leads to lbadan,all for BAT and Abuja 2023.

INFORMATION The coordinator passed some information accross and asked all hands to be on deck.

CLOSING Motion for the adjournment of the meeting was made by Gbenga Oyebode,supported by Nofisat Akintayo with prayer said by Rabiu Ogundare(Rainbow)at exactly 6 :26pm

Some delegates and representatives of the SOUTHERN COALITION FOR BOLA TINUBU at the conference for all BOLA TINUBU SUPPORT GROUPS held at the International Conference Centre Abuja on Monday 17th January 2022.

*2023: Outcome of my Consultation Successful*
- Tinubu

Former governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Saturday in Ibadan, Oyo State capital said the outcome of consultations regarding his 2023 presidential ambition has been very successful.

He maintained that he has the confidence and capacity to overcome any form of challenge that may manifest in his bid to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari before and after the presidential election.

Speaking with journalists shortly after paying a visit to the former governor of Oyo State and the Osi Olubadan of Ibadan, Senator Rasheed Ladoja in his Bodija residence, Tinubu declared that “the outcome of my consultation over my presidential ambition is successful.”

He stated: “Life is a challenge and you must be ready to confront challenges and overcome. I have the confidence that I will overcome any form of challenge. I am sure I would face challenges and I have the confidence that I will overcome them.”

According to Tinubu, “the reactions of critical stakeholders to my presidential ambition have been very positive, encouraging and overwhelming and these have spurred me on with the strong conviction that we would succeed and emerge victorious after the election.

“Life itself is a challenge and I have the confidence and capacity to wade through challenges and overcome. We are forging ahead and with the strong support of the masses of Nigerians, we are going to achieve a resounding victory, “he posited.

Though journalists were barred from Tinubu’s meeting with Ladoja, which lasted for more than 30 minutes, insiders informed Sunday Tribune that Tinubu was in the state to commiserate with Governor Seyi Makinde and the people of the state over the demise of Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade, the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji and former governor of Oyo State, Chief Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala.
