The PCRC Orile Division welcomes responsible and community-minded individuals who are interested in contributing to community policing, crime prevention, and safer communities.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Interested applicants are required to:

1. Obtain the PCRC Registration Form at a non-refundable registration fee of ₦10,000.
2. Complete the form accurately and honestly.
3. Have the application endorsed by a person of impeccable character who can vouch for the applicant's integrity and good conduct.
4. Submit the completed form for screening and processing.
5. Undergo the necessary due diligence/background verification to confirm the accuracy of the information provided and ascertain the applicant's suitability for membership.

QUALITIES EXPECTED OF A PCRC MEMBER

A prospective PCRC member should demonstrate:

- Integrity, honesty and good character
- Respect for the law and constituted authority
- Commitment to community service
- Discipline, responsibility and reliability
- Respect for human rights and the dignity of others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies
- Commitment to peace, unity and conflict resolution
- Confidentiality and discretion
- Zero tolerance for crime, violence and criminal activities
- Willingness to report suspicious activities and support crime prevention
- A non-partisan and responsible attitude in community security matters

*PCRC ORILE DIVISION HOLDS JULY SECURITY TRAINING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS (FRSC) AND PAYS EXECUTIVE VISIT TO ELDER DIYAOLU*

ORILE, LAGOS | SATURDAY, 25 JULY 2026

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Orile Division, successfully held its July Security Training, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to promoting road safety, public enlightenment, and community policing through strategic collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

The training featured an enlightening presentation by the distinguished Guest Speaker, Superintendent Route Commander Onyekwere of the FRSC Surulere Unit Command, who delivered an insightful lecture on critical issues relating to road safety, traffic management, emergency response, and the vital role of community participation in ensuring safer roads.

Participants received comprehensive enlightenment on the following key areas:

- Road Safety Awareness
- Traffic Discipline and Management
- Emergency Response Procedures
- Public Enlightenment and Safety Advocacy
- Community Partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)

During the interactive session, members were encouraged to deepen their knowledge of road safety, actively support the activities of the FRSC, and enroll as FRSC Special Marshals to contribute meaningfully to safer roads and a more secure society.

Our Divisional Police Officer, Orile Division, CSP Philips Oluwaseun Ogunleti, welcomed participants, commended the initiative, and urged members to apply the knowledge gained in strengthening community policing and promoting public safety.

In recognition of his outstanding presentation, dedication to public safety, and commitment to community partnership, Superintendent Route Commander Onyekwere was honoured with the title of Ambassador of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Orile Division.
The recognition reflects PCRC ORILE DIVISION appreciation for his invaluable contribution to road safety awareness and his continued collaboration with the PCRC.

Following the training, the Executive Members of the PCRC Orile Division paid a courtesy visit to Elder Diyaolu, where they held fruitful discussions on strengthening community engagement, enhancing security collaboration, and fostering sustainable partnerships for the continued development of the Orile community.

PCRC Orile Division expresses its profound appreciation to the Federal Road Safety Corps, Surulere Unit Command, particularly Superintendent Route Commander Onyekwere, for his exceptional presentation, exemplary service, and unwavering support in advancing road safety awareness within the community.
