Not only was Malam Yahaya Islamic Library established by Lt. General (Dr.) Faruk Yahaya, CFR, NAM (Zarumman Sokoto) as part of his contribution toward improving Islamic education, but he also established Zauren Malam Yahaya a center where people can freely acquire knowledge, just like Malam Yahaya Islamic Library.

At Zauren Malam Yahaya, Sifawa, individuals can benefit from various fields of knowledge according to their interests, delivered by prominent Islamic scholars who come all the way from Sokoto State. These lectures are recorded and shared online through the Zauren Malam Yahaya page, ensuring wider access beyond physical attendance.

All these efforts are aimed at ensuring that the people of Sifawa, Bodinga, neighboring communities, and Sokoto State at large have free and continuous access to Islamic knowledge and resources, wherever they may be.

May Allah accept this noble effort and make it (Ṣadaqatul Jariyah)for the founder, his late parents, his family, and all those entrusted with its implementation. Āmīn.

📢 Public Holiday Notice & New Year Message

Today marks 1st January 2026, the beginning of the New Year in the Gregorian Calendar, and a public holiday as declared by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In view of this, Malam Yahaya Islamic Library, Sifawa will be closed from today and will resume on Monday, 5th January 2026, Insha Allah.

We pray that this new year brings lasting achievements, growth, and progress to Malam Yahaya Islamic Library, Sifawa, Sokoto State, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Muslim Ummah at large.

May Allah bless our efforts and make this year better than the last. Ameeen🤲

Be inform that MALAM YAHAYA ISLAMIC LIBRARY will be closed on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in respect of the passing of former Nigerian President, Whom in his administration the Founder of This library served as 22nd CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF.
We offer our deepest condolences to Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, (Rtd) CFR, the decease family, friends, and the entire nation. May Allah grant him eternal rest and comfort his loved ones during this difficult time.

We will resume our normal operations on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. We appreciate your understanding "
