After the short holiday, school resumed fully and my father followed me down to school and we went straight to the principal's office. They both exchange pleasantris and the principal asked him to have his sit. He narrated all that as happened to the principal.The principal tried convincing him to allow me stay in art department but he refused. He threatened the principal that if he didn't change my department,he's going to change my school. And the principal told him that it is not up to that. He told my father that he's going to include my name in the list of the science student. That was how I found myself in a science department.

Why is it that some parents love dictating for their children when it comes to future career...?

A***n's pov

I did several exams in my senior secondary School but the results was not encouraging.

I sat thrice for my WAEC but I did not make it when it comes to phychembio(physics, chemistry, biology). During the forth attempt, my father decided to enroll me in a special center which he did and I had B's in my result. I was also assisted in my JAMB, which I had 272 out of 400, then my father told me to study medicine and surgery in the university.
When I went for my post utme, I did not bother writing the exam, my name has already be included when the results came out and I was given admission through my father's connection.

Sean's pov

The rate at which malpractice is increasing in this nation is so alarming.
Can u imagine...? Is your father trying to buy a better future for you or he's trying to tanish your future?

A***n's pov

This is the foundation of what led me here. And I just pray that parents out there who are choosing career for their children should use mine as a deterrant.

I was a very brilliant student during my day in senior secondary School in art department. I love everything about creative, but unfortunately for me my father as always want me to be in science department to study medicine and surgery in higher institution. I did first term examination in art department in sss 1 without the consent of my father and I came out in flying colours.

My father happen to be a wealthy business man, who bearly had time for his family.

Sean's pov

So, how is this now a cause that led you here ?

A***n's pov

Listen and let me continue the story. As I was saying, my dad came back from his trip as usual, and I showed him my first term result that I was above average, hoping that he would be very glad at it but instead, he scolded me seriously that who asked me to be in art department, and I told him that is the only department am fitted in. He did not only scolded me, but he denied me of my monthly allowance and later said he would go to my school to see the principal to change my department.

My mum tried confusing him, but all to no avail . I was not happy though out the first term holiday despite the visit of my cousin. The holiday was just too boring because of what my dad did to me...

The words of our elders are words of wisdom, not all youth maybe opportuned to read this story of mine, but the fewers should look closely at this quote "A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE", so says an adage ... ... ...

One sunny afternoon at alado's correctional center, there sat a sadden guy named A***n, who was looking helplessly under a tree, has a guy who bears Sean walk up towards him, Sean is a very close friend of A***n, who has been longing to know what brought A***n to prison. But all his efforts prove abortive, So, Sean decided on this fateful day to walk to A***n and plead to tell him the reason for his present situation, but a heavy tears flow out of his eyes as he started to narrate his life history to Sean... ... ...
