"Pls, I need serious advice.

I know it's my mistake, but hear me out. A man came & proposed to me twice, & I rej£ct£d his proposal cuz I didn't have full information about his financial status.

The guy was too impatient. Somehow he met my sister then went ahead & proposed her. Actually, he didn't know we're related. She accepted him so easily. They went ahead & got married. He only discovered when they came to see my parents for bride price that she's my little sister.

The issue here is that the man is an accountant. He also runs businesses in the city. He is a rich man. When I ask for money from him, he tells me to pass through my sister. But when I go to my young sister, she will only give me ₦55k or sometimes 45k.

Her husband gives her sometimes close to 700k from the businesses & She'll give my parents 150k & her husband's mom 150k too. But to me, she's been st¿ngy.

She doesn't know this man was actually mine. He proposed to me first. If I want, I can start telling him to go out with me. For him to propose to me first, it means he loves me more than her. She's very st¥bb©rn & boastful.

On several occasions I've pleaded with my sister to equip my saloon of which it'll cost just about ₦900k to ₦1m but she keeps complaining that she's trying save money for her own business for now & necessarily doesn't want to ask from her husband...

I'm actually the first born. Most times, i feel she's doing all these things especially giving our parents allowances every month as financial support and at the same time refusing to help me so i can also stand on my feet is cuz she wants to show off or probably belittle me, cuz i do not support our parents financially that much for now, since I'm not financially stable. It makes me feel so emb@rr@ss£d.

There’s this story about a woman who had been married for years without a child. One day, she attended a church program and during the prayers, the pastor told every TTC woman to carry their twin babies by faith. She believed the prayer and claimed hers wholeheartedly.

When she got home later that day, she and her husband were spending quality time together as husband and wife, hopeful and excited about the future. But just at that moment, there was a loud knock on the door.

To their surprise, it was her mother-in-law crying and complaining about serious waist pain. The husband immediately stopped everything, rushed to attend to his mother and left his wife alone in the room.

The woman eventually slept off, and in her dream, an angel appeared carrying twin babies. As she stretched out her hands to receive them, the angel said, “You are not ready yet,” and walked away with the babies.

A lot of people are like this woman and her husband today. Some blessings require wisdom, boundaries, understanding and proper timing. Not every interruption should be entertained immediately, especially when it constantly affects your marriage, peace and intimacy as a couple.

Yes, caring for parents is important, but married couples must also learn how to protect their union and prioritize each other. Sometimes, the problem is not spiritual at all… it’s lack of balance, lack of boundaries and allowing third parties to constantly interrupt private moments between husband and wife.

CONCLUSION

That night after everybody left, my husband stayed outside my downstairs room knocking softly like a stranger 😭

“Zainab please open the door… let’s talk.”

But honestly, I was tired.

Not tired of marriage.

Tired of disrespect 💔

For 16 years I stood by this man through everything.

When his business failed, I sold my gold to support him.

When he was sick, I slept on hospital benches beside him.

When life became hard, I managed the house quietly without complaining.

Yet all it took was one girl with lashes and Snapchat filters for him to forget everything 😭💔

Around midnight, I heard loud shouting upstairs again.

The girl was angry because my husband collected the phone he bought for her 😂💔

Apparently he wanted to return it and use the money to settle family members that were already involved in the matter 😭

This girl shouted:
“So after wasting my time you now want to collect gifts back?!”

Omo 😭😂

Before I could blink, she carried her bags downstairs.

But instead of leaving quietly…

She entered MY room 😭😳

And sat on my bed crying.

Yes… the same girl 😭💔

At first I was confused.

Then she said something that shocked me completely.

“Aunty Zainab… I didn’t know he was lying to both of us.”

She confessed that my husband promised to marry her secretly months ago.

He told her I no longer cared about him.
He said our marriage was already dead emotionally.
He even claimed I had someone else 😭💔

The girl started crying seriously.

Then she said:
“The man I met online is different from the man I met inside this house.”

Hmmmm 😭

For the first time since this whole drama started… I felt pity for her.

Not because she was innocent.

But because we were both deceived by the same man.

That was when my husband entered downstairs and saw both of us sitting together 😭😂

The confusion on his face was priceless.

One wife.
One side chick.
Both looking at him like principal and vice principal 😭😂💔

He tried defending himself but the girl suddenly shouted:
“STOP LYING FOR ONCE!”

Even me I became scared 😭😂

Then she removed the engagement ring he gave her and dropped it on the table.

My husband almost cried.

That was when I finally spoke.

I looked at him calmly and said:

“You didn’t destroy this marriage because of another woman…”

“You destroyed it the day you stopped valuing the woman who was already beside you.” 💔

Silence.

Complete silence 😭

This morning the girl finally left the house.

But before leaving…

She hugged me and whispered:
“I pray no woman experiences this kind of pain.”

Omo 😭💔

Now my husband has been sitting downstairs since morning like somebody waiting for exam results 😂

And my family is asking me one serious question…

Should I forgive him or end this marriage peacefully after 16 years? 😭💔
