They searched his time as Governor.
They searched his business records.
They searched his years in public service.
They searched his bank accounts.
They searched his contracts.
They searched his associates.
Yet, after years of scrutiny, allegations, investigations, propaganda, and political attacks, they are still searching.
The cartoon tells a powerful story: a crowd armed with flashlights and magnifying glasses desperately searching for corruption in Peter Obi, examining every corner, every pocket, and every detail. But despite the intense search, they find nothing.
In a political environment where corruption scandals have become commonplace, Peter Obi is often presented by his supporters as a symbol of accountability, prudence, and transparency. His tenure in public office has been continuously scrutinized by critics and opponents, yet the search for evidence of corruption has remained unsuccessful.
This is not because he is beyond examination. Rather, it reflects the belief that public service should be measured by integrity, discipline, and responsible stewardship of public resources.
The more they search, the more they discover a leader associated with fiscal responsibility, investment in education and healthcare, and prudent management of public funds.
Search harder.
Search deeper.
Search everywhere.
For many Nigerians, the conclusion remains the same:
"The greatest challenge is not finding corruption in Peter Obi; it is accepting that integrity in leadership is possible."
