By the provision of our mandate, the Rivers State Signage and Advertisement Agency (RISAA), is the only Agency empowered by law to register, collect, and issue permits to all owners of billboard and other forms of outdoor signage in Rivers State.

APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL ADVISERS, Ag. MD of RISAA

The Rivers State Governor His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike CON, GSSRS, POS has appointed the following persons as Special Advisers.

1. Hon Ralph Muzan Ekpelu
2. Prince Ohia
3. Dr Ifeanyi Obulor
4. Hon Ibe Alex
5. Mr Phil Te - Waji
6. Mr Bellor Waite
7. Hon J. O. Nwogu
8. Hon Sylvester Ngbar.

Similarly, the Governor has also appointed Chief (Hon) Tony Okeah as Acting Managing Director, Rivers State Signage & Advertising Agency (RISAA).

All appointments take immediate affect.

Our monitoring and enforcement team were at Aggrey road in Port-Harcourt township to put up stickers on billboards that are yet to comply with the Agency this 2019.

RISAA encourages all billboard practitioner/owners in Rivers State to get permits on all billboard structures and outdoor advertisements from the Agency.

The Rivers State Signage and Advertisement Agency (RISAA) has commenced enforcement within Port-Harcourt city.

Billboard practitioners are advised to comply with the Agency.

RISAA is the only Agency mandated by law to regulate, issue permits on all outdoor advertisement structure in Rivers State.
