Ogorugba Receives LOGMA 2026 Nomination as Nigeria's Best Local Government Chairman in Infrastructure.

The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council Area of Delta State, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has been nominated for the 2026 Nigerian Local Government Chairmen Merit Award (LOGMA) as Nigeria’s Best Local Government Chairman in Infrastructural Development.

The prestigious nomination, under the 25th Edition of the Nigerian Local Government Chairmen Merit Award, is in recognition of Hon. Ogorugba’s visionary leadership, innovative governance, grassroots development initiatives, and commitment to improving the welfare of the Isoko North people through his GODWIN Agenda.

His administration is visibly consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and the M.O.R.E Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori
, Governor of Delta State.

Since assuming office, Hon. Ogorugba has continued to prioritize people-oriented governance through various interventions and developmental projects and programmes spread across the 13 wards of Isoko North.

His administration is delivering the dividends of democracy to the grassroots in areas of Education, Healthcare, human capital development, Infrastructure, Environmental Protection, and Social Welfare, while promoting peace, unity, and inclusive leadership.

Reacting to the nomination, Hon. Ogorugba expressed appreciation to God Almighty for making him outstanding among his equals and to the organizers of LOGMA 2026 for recognizing his administration’s efforts in infrastructural development.

He described the nomination as “a call for MORE work and service to the Isoko North people.”

He dedicated the nomination to the good people of Isoko North for their confidence in him and his administration,
Noting that he could have not been able to achieve this milestone, if not for their love and support for his leaderships. He stated.

Hon. Ogorugba reaffirmed his commitment to consolidating the achievements of his administration in line with the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori by executing MORE meaningful and impactful projects, especially as the 2027 general elections gather momentum.

The nomination further reflects the growing recognition of Hon. Ogorugba’s political leadership and developmental strides at the grassroots level.

Women Support Group Pledges Support For Governor Sherriff's and Ogorugba Administration.

The Daughters of Love Political Forum, Oyede Ward 12 in Isoko North Local Government Council Area of Delta State, ably led by Dcns. Evi Ijire has pledged their unflinching loyalty and support to the administration of His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori Governor of Delta State, and Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Executive Chairman of Isoko North LGA.

The Oyede Political Women Support Group appreciated the Council Chairman for his exemplary leadership and steadfast contributions in consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, (GCFR) and the MORE Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

They noted the ex*****on of numerous projects across the 13 wards of the local government, especially the Nursing Quarters in Oyede Ward 12 making primary healthcares service delivery more accessible and efficient

The group stated that with these visible projects on ground, the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidates in the forthcoming general election is a "carry go" matter.

In his response, the Chairman appreciated the Daughters of Love Political Forum for their support and solidarity.

He assured them of his administration’s commitment to gender inclusiveness and promised to empower 10 women from Oyede Ward 12.

Hon. Ogorugba further appealed to the group to commence grassroots mobilization in Oyede Ward 12 ahead of the next election cycle to ensure victory for the APC at all Levels.
