Our attention has been drawn to a malicious, seditious, libelous and misleading article circulated by one Achodo Emmanuel from Urrata Owerri North, attempting to distract the public through insults and falsehoods in a bid to create unnecessary tension and hit up the polity.

Hon. Mrs. Ndidi Iheme (nee Njemanze) remains focused on her vision for the development, empowerment and effective representation of the people of Owerri Federal Constituency.

Contrary to the false narratives being spread, the PDP primary election process that produced Hon. Mrs. Ndidi Iheme was duly conducted in the presence of party stakeholders and officially observed by representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in line with established democratic procedures.

It is therefore unfortunate that certain persons have chosen to resort to propaganda, personal attacks and character assassination instead of engaging in issue-based politics that benefits the people.

Politics should be about service, ideas, competence and capacity, not bitterness, insults and desperation.

Hon. Mrs. Ndidi Iheme has continued to demonstrate maturity, leadership, grassroots connection and commitment to the progress of Owerri Federal Constituency, and no amount of blackmail or sponsored attacks will derail that commitment.

We urge supporters and members of the public to remain peaceful, focused and law-abiding as we continue to advance a message of hope, unity and responsible leadership.

The people of Owerri Federal Constituency deserve constructive engagement and purposeful representation.

Today marked another significant milestone in the political journey of Hon. Mrs. Ndidi Iheme (Nee Njamanze) as she successfully participated in the party screening exercise ahead of the forthcoming electoral process for Owerri Federal Constituency.

The screening exercise, which brought together aspirants and party stakeholders, reflected the credibility, preparedness, experience, and leadership capacity of Hon. Mrs. Ndidi Iheme, whose growing support across the constituency continues to inspire confidence among party faithfuls, youths, women, and community leaders.

In furtherance of her aspiration to serve the good people of Owerri Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers and provide effective representation positively transforming the lives of youths, women and all Constituents as never done, Hon. Ndidi Iheme (Nee Njemanze), today met with the leaders of her great Party - The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the State and Owerri Senatorial Zone.

This journey which began over a year ago gathered momentum during the meeting held at the Emekuku Country home of Chief Anthony Iheanacho the Party's Apex Leader in Owerri North.

Graced by the South East Zonal Secretary of the Party Hon. Mike Ahumibe, State Secretary, Zonal Chairman, State Woman Leader, State Exco, Local Government Chairmen of Owerri North, Municipal and West and all aspirants for Senate, House of Reps and Imo State House of Assembly - including Prince Eze Madumere, former Deputy Governor of Imo State, the event showcased Hon. Ndidi Iheme's sterling performances and experiences which qualify her capacity to effectively deliver on the job.

Her aspiration was given the blessings of the Party elders as she is the first woman in the Constituency to vie for the position and owing to her antecedent of proven and verifiable track record in both public and private service .

I have officially obtained my Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms from the Peoples Democratic Party at Wadata Plaza, declaring my intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
