I hate it when citizens of this country called Nigeria by our colonial masters, tend to neglect this signs of failure displayed by those who called themselves our leaders and those who seek public offices, now tell me how a man who had spent many years serving the public in different high capabilities, top offices of the nation for donkey years yet when he wants to campaign for higher or same office will not be able to mention one great or meaningful traceable achievement he has made or he is going to achieve as campaign promises rather than pushing agendas or narrative against their opponents, this is disheartening.

If Ameachi continues attacking president Tinubu we won’t allow him to campaign in Rivers State ~ Wike warned Ameachi

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike, has warned that it will be difficult for ex-Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi to campaign in Rivers State if he continues to attack President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his supporters.

Wike, who spoke on Friday in Abuja after a meeting with the chairmen of the six area councils of the FCT, was reacting to comments attributed to Amaechi, a vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who allegedly said that only thieves and mad people would vote for President Tinubu.

“If he continues along this line, it will be difficult for him to campaign in Rivers. We will not take that. If security agencies and INEC can fold their hands, that’s their business, but we will not allow it,” Eyesom Wike said.

“Nyesom Wike Is Politically Dangerous, He is a unic force in this game;

The political drama in Rivers State appears to be entering another chapter.

According to claims circulating around the latest reconciliation efforts, Nyesom Wike is said to be seeking renewed understanding with political stakeholders after tensions surrounding his Rainbow Coalition and its relationship with APC governors.

The allegation is that Wike wants former allies and influential stakeholders back on his side, amid growing political pressure ahead of 2027.

But one important question remains:

Is this simply reconciliation for the sake of political unity, or is Wike trying to rebuild his political influence ahead of the 2027 elections?

What is confirmed is that reconciliation efforts involving Wike’s Rainbow Coalition and Governor Siminalayi Fubara have been taking place, with Kingsley Chinda also involved in previous meetings. (Channels TV)

There have also been public disagreements between Wike and APC governors over his proposed Rainbow Coalition. (Premium Times Nigeria)

As for reports that Kingsley Chinda will automatically lose the APC governorship ticket through INEC, that claim should be treated cautiously. Rivers APC has publicly rejected reports that Chinda’s candidacy has been nullified. (Tribune Online)
