AHIAZU MBAISE SHARED PROSPERITY YOUTH MOVEMENT HOLDS MEGA YOUTH SUMMIT

~ Launches SPYM10 in Support of Gov. Uzodimma’s Re-election

Ahiazu Mbaise stood still on Friday 3rd November as the Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM) held a mega youth summit/rally in support of Gov Hope Uzodimma’s second term bid.

The event which was graced by over 5,000 youths of Ahiazu Mbaise commenced with a roadshow from Afor Oru market area to the the Local Government Council where the rally took place. The enthusiastic Youths used the roadshow to welcome the SA(Youth Affairs), Hon Eric Uwakwe, DG SPYM, Hon. Bob E. Anyanwu, State leadership of SPYM, many other dignitaries and government functionaries.

After the opening prayers and presentation of Kolanuts, the Coordinator of SPYM in Ahiazu Mbaise, Engr Obinna Agulanna who thanked the stakeholders for attending such a mega youth summit which is the first of its kind in Ahiazu. Engr Agulanna also said that the youths are tired of sitting on the fence and have therefore decided to get involved in government in order to help in shaping their destinies and their generation. He finally assured Gov Hope Uzodimma that the votes of Ahiazu Mbaise are secured for him from Polling Unit to the State Collation Centre as a token of appreciation for his massive infrastructural development and youth friendly government.

The DG of SPYM later electrified the enthusiastic crowd with a message of renewed Hope and urged the Youths to vote massively for Gov Hope Uzodimma because of his numerous Youth friendly programs like SkillUp Imo Project and Youth Empowerment programs.

Goodwill messages were delivered by Ahiazu Leaders like, Hon Okey Ezem (Coordinator of Ekwerazu Local Government Development Area), Hon Mrs Chidimma Onuoha (SA to the Governor on Direct Foreign Investment and new Industry), Chief Leo Nkemjika Okeahialam, former SOLAD Ahiazu local government, Chief Chuks Chilaka (Dikejiejemba 1 of Mbaise)SA to the Governor on political, Hon Dr (Mr) Ngozi Aririguzo Chairperson Ahiazu local government, Rt. Hon Sam Nkem Otuibe, House Member Ahiazu State Constituency, Hon Chief Sir Adultus Onuoha (Ogbuhoruzo 1 of Mbaise)fomer T.C Chairman Ahiazu local government, Hon Bar. Tony Odirichukwu APC State working committee member from Ahiazu, Chief Ethelbert Ugwu, Ahiazu APC LGA party chairman, Hon.Anthony Mmahuruike, Hon Commissioner for livestock and Hon. Mrs. Jane Ogbenna. They all hailed SPYM as the most organized, outstanding and grassroot political structure of the Governor in Ahiazu and extolled the Coordinator, Engr Obinna Agulanna for being at the forefront of youth renaissance at this critical moment of our history.

High point of the event was the presentation of certificate of LGA MATRON to Hon Dr. (Mrs) Princess Chidimma Onuoha, LGA PATRON to Hon Chief Chuks Chilaka and LGA GRAND PATRON to Hon Chief Tony Anakani for their various contributions towards Youth development and Empowerment in Ahiazu.

Hon Dr. (Mrs) Princess Chidinma Onuoha during her goodwill message as the LGA SPYM Matron admonished and encouraged the youths of Ahiazu to continue to support the good work of Shared Prosperity Government of Gov Hope Uzodinma for more dividends of democracy in Ahiazu.

Hon Chife Chuks Chilaka the SPYM LGA Patron extolled the youths of Ahiazu SPYM for coming out en mass for the event, he further encouraged them to also massively come out in the same spirit on 11th November to deliver his Excellency.

SHARED PROSPERITY YOUTH MOVEMENT MBAISE BLOCK KICKS OFF HOPE FOR IMO FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

It was a gathering of Mbaise sports lovers and political leaders from the region and beyond yesterday 10th September, 2023 as Shared Prosperity Youth Movement Mbaise Block ably led by the three LGA coordinators, Engr. Obinna Agulanna, (Ahiazu), Hon. Amb. (Mrs) Uchechi Ogbonna (Aboh) and Hon. Azu Mmaduiri (Ezinihitte) alongside with their 36 ward coordinators begins their 2023 football tournament as a way of mobilizing Mbaise youths for the re-election of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma come November 11, 2023.

The tournament which was funded by an oil Mogul, (Inno and Bisco Oil and Gas) and an illustrious son of Ahiazu Mbaise, attracted Mbaise sons and daughters from all walks of life.

The event which took place at St Bede's Obohia play ground in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, witnessed a kick off football match between Ahiazu team and Aboh team.

The people of Ahiazu, Aboh and Ezinihitte massively came out to cheer their teams. The football tournament was also well attended by some political leaders from both the LGAs. Notable among them were, Dr Tony Mgbeahuruike, the Hon Commissioner for Livestock Development, Imo State, Hon Eddy Obinna, the Honourable member representing Aboh Mbaise State constituency, Hon Agnasionu, the Hon member representing Ezinihitte Mbaise State Constituency, Chief Paul Obasi, the APC party coordinator Ahiazu Mbaise, Oke Nze Obinna, the APC apex leader of Ngor-okpala LGA, Hon. Tanana Biaduo, Hon Paul Uzosike former SECLOG Ahiazu Mbaise and several other dignitaries.

The tournament was kicked off by the Hon commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon Emeka Okoronkwo. Also in attendance was Chief Eze Ugochukwu Ochiwar, the SA to the governor on Public Enlightenment, State delegates of Shared Prosperity Youth Movement ably led by the owerri zonal coordinator Comr. Humphrey Osuji and the State Auditor Eveng. Peter Chima.

SHARED PROSPERITY YOUTH MOVEMENT PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO THE IMO STATE PARTY CHAIRMAN OF ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS, HON. (DR) MCDONALD EBERE (Ph.D) AT THE STATE PARTY SECRETARIAT

As part of the programs outlined by the leadership of Shared Prosperity Youth Movement to broker partnership with major stakeholders of the Shared Prosperity Government of Imo State ably led by Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the leadership of SPYM paid a courtesy call today 10th August 2023 to the Imo State All Progressive Congress Party Chairman at the Party Secretariat.

This delegation ably led by the Director General of SPYM Hon Eric Uwakwe (JP) had in attendance the state executives and twenty seven (27) local government coordinators of the organization.
He explained that the reason for the unrest being experienced in Imo State and south east at large is simply as a result of gross neglect of the youth constituency and the inability of the government to include the constituency in both policy making and government programs of which the 3R Government of Dist Sen Hope Uzodimma has completely changed the narrative.

The state coordinator, Hon. Anyanwu Bob gave a brief history of the organization and went on to give a breakdown of the executive strength of the organization from the state, local government, wards and pilling unit.

The State Party Chairman, Hon (Dr) McDonald Ebere in his response expressed so much happiness seeing the vibrant commitment displayed by the leadership and members of Shared Prosperity Youth Movement and encouraged the organization to stand tall remain and remain steadfast in their commitment towards the Shared Prosperity Government of Dist Sen Hope Uzodimma.
He commended the Governor over his undeniable achievements in the state in less than three years in office and in the south east at large and if given the second chance come November 11, 2023 he will surpass the expectations of the Imolites.

AHIAZU MBAISE EXECUTIVES OF SHARED PROSPERITY YOUTH MOVEMENT MEET

The LGA Excos and Ward Coordinators of Ahiazu Mbaise Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM), on Saturday 5th August, 2023 held a strategic meeting at King’s Palace Hotel, Nnarambia. The meeting which was convened by the Ahiazu SPYM Coordinator, Engr Obinna Agulanna attracted the presence of Owerri Zonal Coordinator of SPYM, Comr Humphrey Osuji, State Auditor, Comr Peter Chima and some other notable dignitaries.

After the opening formalities, there were briefings on the forthcoming launching of SPYM-10 project in Ahiazu as well as verification of various lists submitted by the Ward Coordinators.

Also in the meeting, all the Ward Coordinators presented their Ward Sports Directors for the coordination of the INNO & BISCO foothball Competition. The sponsor of the Sports Competition and the CEO of INNO & BISCO Transport Company was represented at the meeting by his Special Assistants, Hon Patrick Ekeji and Mr Bob Chukwu. Addressing the gathering, Hon Ekeji reeled out the rules and benefits of the Sports competition. The Competition which shall hold in Ahiazu Mbaise would feature all the 12 Wards in Ahiazu.

The Excos of SPYM agreed to participate in the competition as part of the strategies to boost the fortunes of the Movement in Ahiazu Mbaise for the victory of Gov Hope Uzodimma in November Governorship poll.

The Ahiazu SPYM Secretary, Mr Patrick Chukwu who also doubled as the secretary of the SPYM-10 lunching committee gave a breakdown of the budget for launching of SPYM-10 and also reflected on the need for sourcing of fund for a successful event. He also used the opportunity to brief the House on progress of the Exco’s visit to the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Foreign Direct Investment, Hon(Mrs) Chidimma Onuoha and praised her for her uncommon support so far.

While addressing the meeting, Owerri Zonal Coordinator of SPYM, Comr Humphrey Osuji announced that there would be special prizes for the first five LGAs to launch the SPYM10 project and therefore urged Ahiazu chapter Excos to double their efforts in order to be in the first five.

In conclusion, the Ahiazu LGA Coordinator, Engr. Obinna Agulanna encouraged all the ward coordinators and LGA officers to be more committed and consistent especially in their various wards and booths for the task ahead.

Meeting of the Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM) Mbaitoli chapter held on Fri 4th August 2023 at the Local government headquarters Nwaorieubi.

The meeting was at the instance of the LGA coordinator who is also the COC of Imo SPYM Hon. Chibuzor Uwandu.

Matters discussed at the meeting are as follows

1. Revalidation of SPYM 10. The coordinator stressed the need for ward coordinators to go back and reconfirm the names that were submitted and the need to always have meetings with them.

2. SPYM 10 inauguration and courtesy call to leaders.
The coordinator told members that a date will be chosen soon for the inauguration of SPYM 10 and further requested members to suggest names of Mbaitoli leaders that would be visited for courtesy call.

3. The coordinator informed the house of the Incorporation of other support groups into SPYM. In this regard, he urged every Exco and ward coordinator to be up and doing so as not to be replaced by new entrants who are capable.

In attendance at the meeting were,
Hon Nick Iwuozor the SPYM State director for Special citizens, LGA executive members, Ward coordinators and secretaries.

The SOLAD of Mbaitoli Hon Hamilton Chinasa Opara was on hand to welcome attendees to the local government headquarters. He went further to provide a token for transport.
