ALESE FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS ACROSS OSOGBO ON EID-EL-ADHA CELEBRATION

The Executive Chairman of Osogbo Local Government, Hon. Taiwo Akande ALESE, alongside his Vice Chairman, Hon. Musiliu Adewale Aderemi, has felicitated with Muslims across Osogbo Local Government and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Adha celebration.

Hon. ALESE described Eid-el-Adha as a sacred and significant festival that symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, love, peace, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah. He urged Muslims to continue to uphold the virtues of patience, unity, compassion, and tolerance as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

The Chairman noted that the festive season should serve as a period of reflection and renewed commitment towards peaceful coexistence, community development, and support for one another irrespective of religious or political differences.

He further appreciated the Muslim faithful in Osogbo for their continuous prayers, support, and contributions towards the growth and peaceful atmosphere of the local government. According to him, the progress being recorded in the council area is a collective effort that must be sustained.
