As the sun rose over the vibrant landscape of Nigeria on May 27, 2026, the Young Shall Grow Union of Nigeria is here to celebrate Children’s Day a day dedicated to honoring the dreams, aspirations, and rights of our nation’s youth. However, this year’s celebration was tinged with deep sorrow and a sense of urgency as we remembered the teachers and schoolchildren still held captive by kidnappers in Oyo State.
