Why we must re-elect President Tinubu:

We cannot sustainably reduce poverty without creating productive jobs and expanding access to capital, skills and markets. So far, the bold economic reforms of the Tinubu administration have led to some macroeconomic stability, which needs to be sustained in order to boost investors' confidence in the Nigerian economy. We can't afford to abandon the already gestating reforms midway to political promises that are neither coherent nor well-thought-out. It is on this basis that I respectfully, without equivocation, call on our people to turn out massively for President Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the January 2027 presidential election.

For those of us in the Asejere Political Movement, we have an irrevocable commitment to re-elect President Bola Tinubu come January next year, by God's grace.

But it is not a task we can do alone. We need everyone on board, including the undecided and those sitting on the fence, to make the commitment a reality.

President Tinubu's re-election is needed to sustain his ongoing reforms, which in the long run will ultimately benefit every Nigerian.

Of the leading candidates for the presidential election, Tinubu is the most qualified in terms of experiential knowledge, boldness and clarity to lead.

Denying him a second term will return the country to Egypt, which we have already left.

It is time for sustainability and consolidation.

Dele Omosehin is, without equivocation, mobilising heavily for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu using his God-given resources, talent and connections at home and abroad. Of course, such an influential political figure cannot go unnoticed by other political partners who are committed to ensuring that President Tinubu comfortably secures his second term come January next year. This explains why a mobilisation group- APC-GEN- has found him worthy to be one of its patrons. The induction will take place on 30 September. If you are anywhere near the vicinity of the induction, you may hop in to give a shout-out and solidarity support to the man of the people. It is asejere all the way.

Why we must re-elect President Bola Tinubu for a second term

“Nigeria's development cannot be driven by government alone. We need a stronger partnership between the public sector, private enterprise and communities. The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration is already creating a business climate that's friendly to investors, both local and international, based on some of the bold reforms he has embarked on. For the sustainability of the reforms, and for them to be beneficial to the ordinary man in the street in the long run, it is important to re-elect the President for a second term come 2027. We cannot afford to go back to Egypt again." Dele Omosehin

New Week Message: Renewed hope, a new Nigeria

My dear people of Ondo State,

As we begin another week, I bring you warm greetings and a message of hope, faith and renewed confidence in the future of our dear state and country.

To my people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency and the good people of Ondo South, I urge you not to lose hope in the face of today’s challenges.

Difficult times do not last forever; resilient people and determined nations prevail, as documented history has repeatedly shown through the ages.

Nigeria is going through a difficult but necessary moment of transformation. The pains and sacrifices we experience today are real, and they must never be casually dismissed as non-existent. That would be callous of anybody to do.

But despite the pains, there are positive signs that Nigeria is gradually turning the corner. Yes, the data are there to show the country is on a positive trajectory. There is macroeconomic stability. The experts say so. It is not my opinion.

The macroeconomic stability did not occur by happenstance. The difficult decisions President Tinubu made led to the stability. It is the season of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our nation is laying the foundations for a stronger, more productive and prosperous economy. The journey may not be easy, but the destination is worth fighting for. The Nigeria we desire is possible, and we are getting closer, inch by inch, brick by brick.

Let us therefore continue to support the administration while constructively demanding accountability, good governance and tangible dividends of democracy. Let us choose patience over despair, hope over cynicism, and unity over division.

On my path, I assure the people of Okitipupa/Irele and Ondo South that better days are ahead. Our youths will have greater opportunities. Our businesses will thrive and scale. Our communities will attract more inclusive development, leading to the redistribution of wealth. And our people will have a stronger voice in the affairs of government. The sun shall shine again!

The dawn may appear slow, but dawn is coming. Joy is coming, too. It is sooner rather than later. Let us keep hope alive.

Nigeria will rise. Nigeria is rising. Ondo State will prosper. Ondo South will flourish. Okitipupa/Irele will take its rightful place among the comity of constituencies in our beloved Sunshine State.

This is not the time to give up. It is the season of Renewed Hope. It is the season to believe again. It is the season to build the Nigeria we want. I wish you and your families a peaceful, productive and prosperous new week.

Dele Omosehin,

Yours in service to the people.

Omosehin congratulates Otunba Stephen Fasawe on his doctoral degree

Chief Dele Omosehin has congratulated the President of Omowa Club of Ikaleland, Otunba Dr Stephen Fasawe, on the conferment of a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration by Lagos State University (LASU).

In a congratulatory message, Chief Omosehin described the academic feat as a remarkable achievement and a fitting reward for Dr Fasawe’s commitment to education, personal development and service to humanity.

He noted that obtaining a doctoral degree is a demanding intellectual pursuit requiring discipline, perseverance, sacrifice and an enduring thirst for knowledge, adding that Dr Fasawe’s latest achievement further demonstrates his determination to excel in every sphere of endeavour.

Chief Omosehin also commended Dr Fasawe on his distinguished professional career as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), describing the combination of his professional accomplishments, academic attainment and community service as a source of inspiration to the people of Ikaleland and beyond.

According to him, Dr Fasawe’s contributions to the development of his community, including his leadership of Omowa Club of Ikaleland and other community organisations, underscore the importance of deploying knowledge and experience in the service of society.

“On behalf of my family and associates, I warmly congratulate Otunba Dr. Stephen Fasawe on this well-deserved academic achievement and his convocation.

“This doctorate is not merely a certificate; it is a testament to your perseverance, intellectual capacity and commitment to continuous learning. Your accomplishment is particularly inspiring because it comes alongside an already distinguished career in professional and community leadership.

“I am confident that this new milestone will open another chapter of greater impact and service. May God grant you continued wisdom, good health and strength to deploy your knowledge and experience for the advancement of our people and humanity.”

Chief Omosehin wished the new doctoral holder many more years of outstanding accomplishments, urging him to continue serving as an inspiration to younger generations and as a worthy ambassador for Ikaleland.

He again congratulated Dr Fasawe on the occasion of his convocation and prayed that the latest milestone would herald even greater achievements in his personal, professional and community life.

Why President Bola Tinubu deserves a second term

"Speaking about the economy, it is on record that the Tinubu administration inherited an economy burdened by structural distortions, a costly fuel subsidy regime, an inefficient foreign-exchange system, weak fiscal buffers and declining investor confidence.

"Rather than postpone difficult decisions, as some of his predecessors did, President Tinubu chose a different route: he elected to confront some of the country's most entrenched economic problems. The consequences were painful, particularly for households, but the evidence increasingly suggests that the reforms are producing important macroeconomic gains.

"The strongest argument for continuity is therefore simple: Nigeria should not abandon reforms that are beginning to restore economic stability before their full benefits can be realised, " Dele Omosehin
