I stood in the garden waiting for Vanessa, a hand wrap around my waist, I smile
"What took you so long?"
"Mr Clement's class just ended" she said sweetly, I turn to face her she smile looking at me,I cup her cheeks and crush my lips on hers,she kiss me back wrapping her hands around my neck,we emerge looking into each other's eyes
"I love you Essa"
"I love you more"
"No,I love you more" I teased
"No I love you moreer" I laugh
"And I love you morest" she giggle, she is now my girlfriend

I slowly open my eyes to see Leo looking at me,I smile he returned it
"How are you cupcake?"
"Am good,you need to rest Leo,I don't want you falling sick" he smile and start caressing my hair
"As long as am with you,I can never fall sick" I blush, the door open, the doctor walk in smiling, he check on me
"You are healing fast Ariana, you will be discharged tomorrow" he said smiling, I smile back
"Oh Mr Leo, well we conducted a test on her and congratulations she is 2 weeks and a day pregnant" the doctor drop the bomb,my eyes widen, I look at Leo, he look puzzled,I swallow hard,what if he reject the baby,oh God
"Really doctor?"he asked,I look at the doctor and then to him
"S,s,s,she is carrying my child" he asked,the doctor nodd,Leo smile widely and look at me
"Babe,did you hear that,our baby is growing inside you" tears roll down my cheeks, I was scared at the moment I thought he was going to reject it,I smile
"Babe,what's wrong?" Leo asked when he noticed my tears, I smile
"It's nothing, am just so happy, I never knew I would find love,I never knew someone will love me despite my flaws" I pause and hold his hand
"Thank you so much Leo for coming into my life, I,I love you" I said and started sobbing, he Pat my back
"It's okay,am also happy you came into my life Aria,I will love you till eternity, am never going to leave your side" more tears roll down her cheeks
"Hey stop crying,I don't want my baby to be sad" I chuckle and hit him playfully
"What will you like to eat?"
"Am not hungry yet"
"You need to eat cupcake, the baby might be hungry you know" he said softly,I smile
"Okay,I will have pasta and sauce and chicken"
"Look who says she isn't hungry,I will be back soon,okay don't miss me too much" he said and kiss my forehead and walk out,I smile, am really lucky to have him,I lay back staring at the ceiling, the door open,I look up to see

"Let go of my sone Micheal" mum yell,I smile as dad signal them to release me,I walk to mum
"Thank you so much mum"I said she smile,
"Nathan?" Dad called looking behind us,we turn to see Gabriel, his dad and Ariana's mum,her eyes were bloodshot, I s**t her a deadly glare and a loud bang came from Aria's ward,I ran in to see her on the floor
"Aria" I run to her and carried her in bridal style and place her on the bed then cup her cheeks
"Leonard"
"Am here baby, am here for you" I said kissing her all over her face,the door open mum,das Mr Nathan Gabriel and Aria's mum walk in,her eyes widen when she saw her mum
"Ariana" her mum called
"Don't call me,with your cursed mouth" Aria fired at her
"Aria stop it" I whisper
"I won't stop it,she betrayed me,she abandoned me,she lied on me" Aria said breathing heavily, I cup her cheeks
"Ariana look at me" she look into my eyes
"Calm down" she nodd,I hug her patting her hair

Fast Forward

"I know what I did is wrong please find it in your heart to forgive me am sorry Ariana"
"I will forgive you on one condition,you will forget you ever had a daughter" Aria said and look away
"Am so sorry Aria, am"
"Get out" she yell interrupting her mum
"I don't want to see you ever" she yell,I pull her into a hug as she sob loudly, her mum kneel down sobbing too

Ariana fall asleep after crying her heart out,I sat down caressing her hair
"Leo we need to talk" mum said,I look at her and nodd, she walk out,I stood up,kiss Aria's forehead and walk out, dad sat down looking angry
"He us here Micheal, what do you want to say?" Mum asked,he lift his head looking at me
"Like I said before, you have to choose between her and your family"
"Micheal you are being unfair" mum yell
"I have made up my mind"I speak out
" let's hear it"
"As much as I love my family, I also love Ariana too,I can't live without her so am choosing her cause if my family love me they won't make me chose, Aria is my life,she made me whole,I can't leave her for anything in the world, am sorry am choosing Aria over my family"
"You ungrateful brat" Dad yell standing up,I look at mum
"Mum am sorry,I can't live without her,I hope you understand" with that I walk into the ward,she is still sleeping, I just make a big decision of my life,I can't live without you Aria "I clean my tears

"Mum what's wrong with you,you have been quiet since the party" Gabriel said,tears roll down my cheeks
"Honey,we are here for you so tell me what's wrong" Nathan said,I sigh and breath out
"I have a confession to make"
"What?!" Nathan exclaim, I hold his hand
"Promise me you won't leave me" he hesitate before for a while then he promise
"I ,I,I was once married I had a daughter for him,I live in pain all my life,he always torture my daughter and I,until one unfortunate day as usual he got drunk and started pouncing on us,I beg him to stop" I pause as tears roll down my cheeks
"But he didn't, Ana was just fourteen, she,she stab her dad and he died,she did it for me and her but I did something terrible, I wronged her,she was just a child, the police came she look so scared to save myself I told the police she killed her dad because he refused to buy her toys,she was sent to prison and now she is back,am sorry for keeping it from you" Nathan stand up
"I never knew I was living with a devil, she did it to save the both of you instead if you to defend her you betrayed her" he yell making me fling
"Am sorry, am so sorry"
"Where is she now?" He asked
"I don't know but she came to the the party four days ago,her name is Ariana"
"Ariana Johnson" Gabriel said I look at him shocked, he nodd
"Holy s**t,she has been living with Ken but she got into an accident yesterday, oh God mum you are wicked" Gabriel yell and went to his room,Nathan look at me and walk away, am sorry, Ariana am so sorry

I sat beside her caressing her hair,the door open with force, waking Aria and starling me,Dad stood at the door looking angry,I look at Aria,she look scared
"What do you want Dad?"
"Get him" he said two guards walk to me and grab my arm,Dad walk to me and slap me,I look at him angrily
"You dare disobey me cause of some slut"
"She is not a slut" I yell he slap me again
"Don't talk when am talking" he fired at me and look at Aria

"Chose" he yell making my heart beat increase, Aria stood up and ran out of the house
"Aria" I called running after her,when I got to the gate a loud crash was heard outside, I open the gate and ran out,I pause when I saw Ariana laying in her pool of blood, all my system shut down for a while,I walk to her shaking, blood was in her beautiful, tears roll down my cheeks as I bent beside her
"Aria,Aria! Please open your eyes" I cried shaking her but to no avail, she can't leave me no,she can't,an ambulance came and took her to the hospital, I rush into the house took my car key,I was about going out when mum hold my hand,I look at her then to Dad
"If anything happens to my Aria then forget you ever have a son" I said and jerk my hands off hers and walk out,I got to the hospital, Ariana is in the a ward receiving treatment
"Aria,please for my sake,flight for your life, I can't live without you

Fast Forward

The doctor came out,I walk to him
"How is she doctor?"
"She is out of danger,her spine was shifted a little so she might not be able to work for some time" tears roll down my cheeks
"Can I see her" he nodd,I sigh before entering the ward,I walk to the bed side and sit down
"Aria" I called and hold her hand
"Am sorry Aria, it's all my fault, please wake up,I don't care what people will say,I just need you by my side,I love so much Aria"

Some hours later

"The doctor examine her and told me she will be fine,I sat beside her looking at her,she is right here next to me but I miss her so much,her finger move a little, I stand up looking at her finger, it shake again, I hold her hand looking at her
" Aria wake up,open your eyes am here"I said smiling, she slowly open her eyes then roll it to my side
"Leo" she called weakly,I smile and kiss her forehead
"Thank you so much Aria for waking up" she gave out a slight smile
"I love you" I said caressing her cheek
"I love you too"
"Leo,I,I,I"
"Shhh,don't say anything, I promised you right,I will never leave you,I don't care what they say,the fact that I love you is all that matters, please don't ever leave me,I will die if you do" tears roll down her cheek
"I will never leave you Leo" I smile and plant a kiss on her lips,gosh I miss her so much

"I promise to visit everyday" Leo said I pout my lips, I wish he can just stay here with me,he sigh and hug me
"Okay let's do this,I will come visit everyday and spend the weekend with you how about that?" I smile and nodd,he smile as we emerge, be cup my cheeks smiling

"I love you too Leo" he smile and got into his car,he blow me a kiss and drove off,I smile and walk inside

"Thank you so much Ken" Essa said as I park in front of her house, I smile and look at her,I got lost staring into her beautiful eyes, I don't even know when I started bringing my face closer to her,she close her eyes as I crush my lips on hers,she open up slowly.... We emerge looking into each other's eyes

"It's nothing, I want to tell you this but I didn't have the courage to" she interrupt me
"What is it?"
"It might sound like a joke but I mean every single word I love you,I have been crushing on you since grade 5 but you never noticed me,it's okay if you don't feel the same way,I will get over it with time" she said playing with the hem of her dress

"I will go ahead now" she interrupt me again and got down

"Am okay mum don't worry" I said sitting down on a couch
"Okay,let me get your food" she said and turn to leave but stop when she heard Dad's voice
"Leonard" he yell furiously walking towards us
"Honey what's wrong?" Mum asked surprised
"You punk,how dare you lie to me!"
"I don't understand Dad"
"You weren't at Ken's place were you?"
"Dad I"
"Who is she?" He interrupt me showing me a picture of Aria at Max's house
"Who the hell is she?" He yell again, how did he get that,I kept mute
"You don't have to tell me,I already know bring her in!" He yell,I look at him confused, two guards hold Aria
"Let go of me" she yell trying to break free,how did he?,she stop struggling when she saw me,I look at Dad then to Aria, the guards push her to the ground but I was quick to catch her preventing her from falling, she look at me with tears in her eyes
"So this is how you want to disgrace our family name by having an affair with a murder,a murder who killed her father in cold blood"
"I love her Dad" his eyes widen
"You spoilt brat you will have to chose between her or your family" he said furiously, what is he saying

I close my eyes as he crush his lips on mine,we emerge when we heard someone clear his throat behind us,
"Am glad you are awake" we turn to see Leo standing with his hands fold,
"Hey man" Leo said smiling
"Your dad called"
"What?,what did you tell him?"
"I didn't talk to him,I ask Ken to cover up for you" I sigh am the reason they have to lie to his parents
"Thank you but am so hungry" Leo said,my eyes widen, how can I be so stupid, he haven't eaten for three days
"What do you want to eat?" I ask
"You" he smirk
"Come on Leo be serious" he chuckle
"Pasta"
"Aye aye captain" I said and walk out,I could heard their laughter

"Are you sure about your relationship with her?"
"How do you mean?_
" your parents, I don't think they will accept her"
"I know but I can't leave her for anything in the world, when the time comes I know what to do" I said and sigh

"Food is ready boyfriend" Aria said walking in with a tray,I smile as she place it on the bed
"Hum smells delicious" she smile and sit beside me
"My hand hurts,feed me" she chuckle and begin feeding me,my phone bleep,I took it from the bedstand, it's mum calling, I pick it
"Hello mum"
"Oh my God Leo,I have been trying to reach you for days now,are you okay?"
"Am fine mum,I will come back home tomorrow"
"Okay son and make sure you don't skip your meals okay"
"Okay mum,I love you"
"I love you too bye" I hung up and look at Aria she smile,I hold her hand staring into her eyes
"I love you so much Aria,ni matter what happens, no matter what people say,I will never leave you"

"Ken" I heard my name from behind, I turn to see Vanessa walking close to me,the closer she walk to me the more my heart skip a beat, she smile when she got to my front
"You forgot your phone" she said handing my the phone, I smile and collect it
"Thanks,I ,I erm I will go ahead now"
"Okay bye" I sigh and turn to leave but pause and turn to face her
"Erm mind if I drop you off?" She smile and nodd

"Her name is Melody, my fiancée, I caught her kissing another guy,I became jealous and angry,I avoided her and push her away, I saw the same guy she kissed at her house when I went to sort things out with her,I got angry and start throwing punches at him,Melody tried to stop me but I push her away in anger,she hit her head hard on a wall and died,I killed her cause I was jealous and angry, I was sentence to prison for ten years, the guy came to visit and explain that he was the one crushing on her but she always refuses him,he actually kissed her forcefully that day,and also went to her house to apologize before I came,unfortunately I came and killed her,she was my home,my heart,my family, my everything but I killed her cause I was jealous and angry" tears roll down his cheeks as he said that,I was also in tears,he is right,I almost killed Leonard because of my hatred for mum

"Hi" I heard a voice,I look up to see that girl Ariana's friend
"Hi erm"
"Vanessa"
"Oh right sorry,how are you?"
"Am fine,I actually came to ask after Ariana, I haven't seen her lately is everything okay with her?"
"Yes,she erm she travelled yes she travelled" she nodd
"OK,thanks" she said and turn to leave but I hold her wrist
"Erm Essa" did I just call her that,she blush looking at me
"Are you good at maths" she nodd
*great please help me with this"I said showing her my book,she smile and sit beside me

Three days later

It's been three days now and Leo is still not awake, I sat beside him touching his hair,his face is now pale,tears roll down my cheeks looking at what I caused
"Please wake up Leo, I promise to change, am so sorry, please wake up,I love you so much Leo" I said and kiss his forehead
"I love you too Aria" I heard him say faintly, I look at him,he smile and open his eyes
"I love you so very much Aria" I smile as tears roll freely from my eyes
"I love the name" he smile and bring his hand to my face and clean my tears
"I will be the only one to call you that"
"Thank you so much Leo for waking up am sorry" he sit up
"So will you be my girlfriend?"
"Sure why not" he chuckle and bring his face close
