On behalf of the entire Ezeobi family, wish to sincerely appreciate everyone who joined us to bid an eternal farewell to our beloved mother, Late Deaconess Fidelia Chioma Ezeobi (Née Okoye Akpunonu).

Your presence, prayers, support, and kind gestures during this difficult moment meant so much to us. We were deeply comforted by the outpouring of love from friends, colleagues, associates, community members, and well-wishers who stood by us in solidarity.

I also wish to specially appreciate the Head of the Burial Committee, CFA, the sub-committee heads, and all members of the committee whose dedication and tireless efforts ensured that everything went smoothly.
Your commitment and sacrifices made the farewell ceremony truly befitting for our dear mother.

From the depth of my heart, my family and I remain profoundly grateful to everyone who contributed in one way or another to make the burial a success.

Yesterday, at Neros Sports Stadium, we gathered as a family and as a community to perform the final rites for my beloved mother, Deaconess Fidelia Chioma Ezeobi (Née Okoye Akpunonu).

It was not just a burial ceremony; it was a powerful testament to a life that radiated faith, humility, strength and unconditional love. Seeing people from different walks of life come together to honour her memory reminded us that a good life never goes unnoticed.

My mother lived quietly but impactfully. She built her legacy not with noise, but with values prayer, discipline, compassion and an unwavering commitment to family. Yesterday, as we committed her body to mother earth, we were reminded that while death may close a chapter, it can never erase a life that was truly meaningful.

I remain deeply touched by the solidarity, prayers and presence of friends, associates, colleagues, community leaders and well-wishers who stood with my family in this moment. Your support continues to give us strength.

A virtuous mother has taken her rest, but her light will continue to shine through the lives she nurtured.

Today, we lay our beloved mother to rest.

With faith in God and gratitude for a life well lived, we bid farewell to Deaconess Fidelia Chioma Ezeobi (Née Okoye Akpunonu) — a loving mother, a woman of deep faith, and a pillar to our family and community.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted knowing she lived a life worthy of honour and left behind a legacy of love, humility, and service to God and humanity.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who has stood with our family through prayers, presence, and support during this difficult time.

Rest well, dear mother. Your love and memory will forever remain in our hearts.

It is a solemn moment for my family and I as we bid farewell to a woman whose life was defined by faith, love, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. My mother was not just a parent; she was a guiding light, a prayer warrior, and a pillar whose strength and kindness touched many lives.

Though our hearts are heavy with the pain of her physical departure, we are comforted by the beautiful memories she left behind and the godly life she lived.
We trust in the promise of God that those who sleep in the Lord will rise again.

As we proceed with the church service today, I sincerely appreciate friends, family, colleagues, and well-wishers who have stood with us in prayers, presence, and support during this difficult time. Your love has reminded us that we are not alone in this moment of grief.
