Fintiri, Galadima Visit Madagali and Michika, Inspect Key Development Projects!!!
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to delivering sustainable development across Adamawa State following an inspection of key projects in Madagali and Michika Local Government Areas.
The Governor, accompanied by the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, assessed the ongoing construction of the College of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Gulak and projects at the Adamawa State College of Health Technology, Michika. He said the institutions are aimed at expanding access to quality education, promoting innovation, and equipping young people with practical and entrepreneurial skills for self reliance.
Governor Fintiri disclosed that the Gulak college will feature modern academic facilities, hostels, workshops, laboratories, and a state-of-the-art STEM Centre, while the Acting Rector, Dr. Yusuf Gambo, announced that academic activities are expected to commence in August.
The Governor also inspected the Mararaban Garta Kamale Road project and commissioned a newly completed administrative block at the College of Health Technology, describing the projects as part of his administration's efforts to improve infrastructure and public service delivery.
During the visit, Governor Fintiri and Ahmed Tijjani Galadima paid courtesy calls on the Ptil Madagali and the Mbege Ka Michika, who commended the administration for improvements in security and ongoing developmental projects, particularly the establishment of the technology college.
Addressing community, religious, and party leaders, the Governor called for unity, the protection of public infrastructure, and continued support for government programmes. He also announced plans for a 3.5-megawatt electricity project to enhance power supply and stimulate economic activities in Michika.
Community leaders and stakeholders expressed appreciation for the administration's developmental efforts and pledged their continued support for initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
