In the spirit of compassion and brotherhood that defines this sacred season, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the good people of Chanchaga, Niger State, and Muslims across Nigeria as we approach Eid al-Adha in a few days.
Eid al-Kabir is a time of sacrifice, reflection, and gratitude. It reminds us of the faith of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the importance of submitting to the will of Allah with patience and trust.
I understand that these are challenging times. The economic realities facing many families are real, and the pressure to meet the demands of the season can feel overwhelming. Yet, I urge us not to be weighed down by what we do not have. Sallah will come and go, but our health, peace of mind, and the bonds of family and community matter most.
This is a period to intensify our prayers, seek Allah’s mercy, and remember those who are struggling. Let us share what little we have with our neighbors, strengthen our ties with family, and uphold the spirit of generosity that Eid embodies. A kind word, a visit, or a simple act of support can bring more relief than we realize.
To every family striving to make ends meet, I pray that Allah makes it easy for you, eases your burdens, and opens doors of provision and barakah you never imagined. May He accept our sacrifices, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us peace in this life and the hereafter.
Eid Mubarak in advance. Celebrate safely, celebrate modestly, and celebrate with gratitude.
Sincerely,
Alqalamin Mainan Minna
