MY POLITICAL PRINCIPLE

Politics should be about service, not hatred.

Leadership should be about bringing people together, not creating division.

Whatever political position we occupy today, tomorrow belongs to God.

Let us therefore use our positions and influence to promote peace, empower our communities and contribute positively to the development of Niger State and Nigeria.

Service to humanity remains the greatest responsibility.

FORMER ELECTED COUNCILLORS: A VITAL GRASSROOTS POLITICAL FORCE

The Forum of Former Elected Councillors of Bosso Local Government is a well-structured and highly experienced grassroots political mobilization platform. With members drawn from different wards and communities, the Forum represents one of the largest and most strategic constituencies within the political ladder.

Having served the people directly at the grassroots, former elected councillors possess valuable political experience, strong community networks, and a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people.

Therefore, their recognition, inclusion and active participation in the electoral process are essential to achieving effective grassroots mobilization and electoral success.

As we approach the 2027 General Elections, political leaders and stakeholders should continue to recognize the Forum as an important partner in building unity, strengthening the party at the grassroots, and mobilizing support for all candidates.

Together, with experience, unity and grassroots strength, we can deliver victory.

A CALL FOR PEACE, RECONCILIATION AND UNITY IN APC

As we approach the 2027 General Elections, I wish to make a sincere appeal to our political leaders, stakeholders, and all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to sheathe our swords and embrace peace, reconciliation, forgiveness and unity.

We may have different political interests, ambitions and perspectives, but the interest of our great party must remain supreme, alongside the collective interest and development of the good people of Niger State.

Politics is a journey, and positions or opportunities come and go. Tomorrow belongs to God; therefore, let His will prevail when the time comes. Our priority at this moment should be how to strengthen our party, reconcile our differences, unite our supporters and work collectively towards delivering victory for all our candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

There is no winner in a divided house. Let us avoid actions and utterances that may create unnecessary divisions among us. Where there are disagreements, let dialogue prevail; where there are grievances, let reconciliation take place; and where there are mistakes, let forgiveness be our guide.

“A stitch in time saves nine.”

Let us act now, before our differences become greater than our common interest.

May peace, unity and progress continue to prevail in the APC and in Niger State.

A Call for Peace, Unity and Responsible Politics in Bosso Local Government

Politics should be about service, development and the advancement of the people—not a platform for hatred, bitterness, division or personal vendetta. As political stakeholders, community leaders and opinion leaders in Bosso Local Government, we have a collective responsibility to promote an atmosphere of peace, understanding and unity.

Political differences are inevitable in any democratic society, but they should never become reasons to hate one another or destroy relationships that have taken years to build. We must learn to disagree without becoming enemies, forgive one another, reconcile our differences and work together for the common good of our people.

Bosso Local Government belongs to all of us. The positions we occupy today are temporary, but the consequences of our actions will remain for generations. We must therefore ask ourselves what kind of political environment we want to leave behind for our children and those coming after us.

Our political leaders and stakeholders should rise above personal interests and embrace politics of tolerance, forgiveness, consultation and mutual respect. When leaders unite, the people benefit; when leaders are divided, development suffers.

This is therefore a sincere appeal to all stakeholders: let us shun politics of hatred and bitterness, forgive one another, embrace peace and rebuild trust. Let us put Bosso first and work together to attract development, opportunities and progress to our communities.

The future of Bosso depends on the decisions we make today. Let us choose peace over conflict, unity over division and development over personal differences.

Our political differences should not destroy our brotherhood. Let peace, unity and the development of Bosso Local Government remain our collective priority.
