MY TAKE ON ABDULBERQY EBBO'S RESPONSE
TO NASKO'S ALLEGATION
Permit me to begin by making reference to a few quotes from Mr. Abdulberqy's post one of which said
"a governor whose performance is unequaled in entire history of the state".
Personally, I find this vexatious, untrue and above all, misleading. It is an express and utter disrespect to Nigerlites to hold that the three and a half years of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello is better than those eight years of Engr. AA Kure of blessed memory (may Allah grant him rahma). I leave this to the conclusion of Nigerlites.
Also, to compare these same three and a half years to Muazu Babangida Aliyu's eight years is the height of political maneuver just to swindle the gullible as well as unsuspecting public. It may have perhaps made sense if we were living in different states other than Niger State. Yes, agreed, no government is perfect but it is a notorious fact that Talba's administration saw to the prompt and consistent payment of workers salaries and even went further to do more (Nigerlites understand what I mean here). We are all witnesses to how Lolo's government punished Nigerlites with delayed payment of salaries which is a right not a privilege. In fact, this hardship was even extended to festive periods, Ramadan inclusive. The reason why that changed overnight is within the knowledge of Nigerlites. So much more can be drawn from late Kure as well as Talba's government but since this post is not cut out for a comparative analysis, I would prefer to let it slide as a discussion for another day.
Let me also draw your attention to another quote where Mr Abdulberqy again said
"Today, every sector, section and segment of the state has been positively touched and profoundly affected, thanks to Abubakar's transformation vision".
Going by this quote where every sector is mentioned, can we, with all sense of patriotism come to the conclusion that Lolo's government has lived up to expectation in trying to deal with the housing deficit bedeveling our state? Last time I checked, Talba's government built well over a thousand housing units for the benefit of Nigerlites. It will be foolhardy to downplay the impact this sector has on the lives of Nigerlites. I am a direct beneficiary of government-built houses as I grew up in one (Old Airport Quarters). That is one sector of which importance can never be overemphasized.
Why should I not talk about the powerless situation of the Power State? It is simply not enough to give the impression that Lolo's government is trying to do something. Bottom line is nothing has been done. We have also not forgotten the lackluster attitude displayed by this government during those moments of peaceful protests by the ever energetic youths who were even threatened with arrest. Let us not forget areas like Al Bishiri and the likes who have been in darkness for over a year.
Shall we put the Minna-Suleja, Minna-Bida roads into perspective. Three and a half years on, these roads have been nothing close to motorable. I strongly do not think the government believes all the hardship experienced have gone unnoticed.
How about the lack of transparency in employment processes where a section is favored over and above others? The crisis that rocked the Civil Service Commission thereby resulting into the indefinite suspension of the entire process. Details are already in the public domain.
Finally, this writer has PVC and intends to use it God sparing our lives come 2019. I expect as usual that insults in the form of personality attack as opposed to focusing on issues may trail this post, I do not care one bit.

Yak has been an epitome of not too young to run,&a shining example of the youth in politic at all levels despite all odds&who symbolises success&accomplishment for which every Nigerlite should walk tall,like him,for we indeed have realize our dreams of establishing a labeling playing ground for the youth of chanchaga from the scratch within an incredibly short time of his emergence in PDP who are in a very difficult situation.The singular credit for this feet goes to the CWC&the teaming youth of chanchaga who cal him to serve them.Yak had certainly occupy a special place in the history of politics in Niger state for his vision,mission and unparalleled commitment to the solution to change project from clarion call to date.The time&resources he deployed to the project ,the courage,commitment &zeal with which yak personally pursued the project have no equalled hitherto by any contestant of the state assembly in Niger state.Those of us who were in the thick and thin of,and experienced at first hand,the great hurdles in this project cannot but express with all condour our appreciation to our teaming supporters and the people of chanchaga constituency for the trust,confidence and moments of doubts or even frustration.Thanks to the wise counsel of friends and wellwishers of diverse degrees.But from actions of those we trusted&entrusted our hope and finances haven complyed with their instructions from the ward&local govt,we soon learnt that this is another trial from God.¬ a frustration .For frustrations,especially of the debilitating type,do not coexit with faith.Whensoever the two meet,faith overwhelms frustration and transforms it into challenges of trials.With faith&,good friends ,when faced with trials,one either triump and succeeds or succumbs and fail gracefully with honour.ln the extremes Yak is warrior_hero or a Martyr:a win-win situation for sure. I became quite apprehensive,very apprehensive with those we entrusted by suddenly dawning on us &our agreement .A matter heavy even in the eyes of God(Al-Amaanah)trust which was bereached and that frightened me,and still frightens me bcos of its later consequences.Quran(Al-Ahzaab,verse 72),Giving the gravity of the affair,we have fulfilled our convenant&why the betrayal? Indeed in Nigeria today people are wary of EFCC,for cheating,but in our case ,we believed and wary of AFCC(Allahs Final Corruption Court) as our guiding wisdom to report our betrayers with both of us will stand before God on a day there will be no defence lawyers ,As our people say anyone who eats animal skin,will surely excrete animal hair.

"I AM IN PAIN" CHANCHAGA OH! MY CHANCHAGA..
A lawmaker who was voted by the poor masses of Chanchaga whose children are mostly in dilapidated public schools has set a new record in foolishness.
See how, the lawmaker went to a private school where entry fees alone for Secondary is about #200,000 and a term school fees of over #70,0000, per child and splashed a donation of #5,000,000. (N5M)
The pain here is that more than 95% of those who voted him will never get their children into that private school, they can hardly even eat three square meal.
The lawmaker has shown the people his priority, now let the people in the next election show him their own priority.
In the past I have cause to call out politicians to build young poor children through support in education and entrepreneurship, I thought he got sense, when he started distributing Mathematical set worth a paltry N500, but with this, I doubt.
The opportunity cost of that 5 million Naira wasted on an elitist school and well to do children is that the children of those poor he is representing will seat on bare floor, learn without books, and may be under the trees.
I have said my own and will continue to say it, if you cannot support our youth with education stop giving them drugs and turning them into political thugs while give your children and that of your fellow rich, sound education.
While everything you make was at their instance and at the instance of their parents who voted for you.

THINGS YOUTH NEED TO CHANGE NIGERIA THROUGH POLITICS

EDUCATION— In order to become engaged in politics in the most effective ways, young people can learn about political systems, political actions, political issues and other realities within and around the political system. They can also conduct action learning oriented activities that allow them to gain credit for their involvement.

TRAINING — Training young people to change the world through politics means teaching them the skills they need to become involved. These include communication, problem-solving, change management and conflict resolution skills. It also means participating in knowledge-sharing activities designed to build their capacity for powerful action.

INSPRIRATION— After 12, 14, 17 or 21 years of being told their voices don’t matter in politics, young people may need inspiration to become engaged. Never in history have children and youth been seen or treated as serious political actors; given the opportunity, they will be. Inspiration from stories, parables, biographies and other sources can help prepare and sustain youth in politics.

IGNORANCE OF NIGERIA’S YOUTH
Carelessness and ignorance will kill any nation to prosper, when a people live and act without precision, simply existing and passing through time, her doom is irrefutable bloodbaths, poverty, stagnation, suffering, backwardness are some of the things that the nation is bound to suffer. Our father land Nigeria has been shaking from its roots because of our ignorance and lack of patriotism especially the youths. The ills that hunt us is beyond religion be it Islam or Christianity beyond tribe Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo or any tribe one may be. Some corrupt people sponsor crisis in the name of politics and succeed in making us hate and kill one another if we take our time and think this has nothing to do with religion or ethnicity, but rather a mere game of self-interest by some cabals. We cannot develop until we realise that whatever happens to a particular set of people it will affect us all, we have to unite and overcome to our differences for us to achieve the Nigeria of our dreams. We have realised that electing leaders is not about religion or tribe but is about competence, credibility, determination and love for the country to prosper.
We will continue to be in this situation of suffering until we open our eyes realize together we will make a difference, we will continue to be slaves to cronyism, we must stand up for ourselves to condemn any hate speech from anyone which will make us turn against ourselves and kill each other in the name of religion or tribe, the earth never differentiate between the blood of Muslim or Christian, blood of Igbo or Fulani, blood of Hausa or Yoruba, blood of southerner or northerner we will continue to make children become orphans if we don’t change. We will continue to look at the things that don’t matter ignoring the things that do matter; we must think and look beyond religion and ethnicity for us to experience the Nigeria we want our children and grandchildren to live in.
