Today, I had the honour of swearing in Hon. Justice Christine Terlumun Clement Ende as a Judge of the High Court of Benue State.

Her elevation reflects over three decades of distinguished service in the legal profession and public service.

With this appointment, Benue now has 33 judges, including 14 women, reaffirming our commitment to merit, inclusivity, and the empowerment of women through our “He for She” philosophy.

I congratulate Justice Ende and charge her to serve with integrity, courage, fairness, and fidelity to the Constitution.

Our administration remains committed to strengthening the judiciary and upholding the rule of law in Benue State.

Three years ago, you gave me your trust to lead Benue at a critical moment in our history. Today, I return that trust with deeper commitment, renewed strength, and greater determination to serve you better.

Together, we have made significant progress in education, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, ICT, security, and human capital development, etc. We have also faced challenges, but we remain focused and unshaken.

To every Benue family, please hear me clearly:

“I will stop at nothing to keep our people, our state, and our families safe.”

Today, I celebrate all children across Benue State and Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day.

Our children are the heart of our future, and we remain committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where they can thrive and achieve their dreams.

In Benue State, we have strengthened basic education through free education for Basic 1–6 and Junior Secondary School levels, rebuilt and expanded over 400 school infrastructure projects, and recruited over 9,000 teachers to improve learning outcomes across our schools.

This year’s theme, “Future Now: Promoting Inclusion for Every Nigerian Child,” reminds us that every child deserves equal opportunity, quality education, and protection, no matter their background.

To our dear children: you are the future we believe in. Dream big, stay focused, and keep shining.

Today, I join our Muslim brothers and sisters in Benue State, across Nigeria, and around the world to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

This sacred occasion reminds us of sacrifice, obedience to God, compassion, and devotion to a higher purpose; values that must continue to guide us as a people and a nation.

I deeply appreciate the Muslim community in Benue State for their prayers, peaceful conduct, and contributions to the growth and stability of our dear state. Our diversity remains our strength, and our unity our pride.

As we celebrate, let us continue to pray for Benue State and Nigeria, and support all efforts toward peace, security, and development.

Today, I joined other distinguished guests and members of our great Party at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, to officially announce the Benue State results of the 2026 APC Presidential Primary Election.

In my capacity as Benue State APC Presidential Primary Coordinator and Returning Officer, I presented the outcome of a transparent and orderly exercise across all 23 Local Government Areas of our dear state.

The result clearly shows President Bola Ahmed Tinubu securing a decisive victory over his opponent by a very wide margin.

The process was peaceful, credible, and a true reflection of the will of our party faithful.

I warmly congratulate Mr. President on his emergence as the Presidential flag bearer of our great party, the APC.

As always, we remain committed to strengthening internal democracy and advancing the unity and progress of our great Party and our nation.

Today, as Benue State APC Coordinator and Returning Officer, I oversaw the successful distribution of electoral materials for the APC Presidential Primary Election across all 23 Local Government Areas of the State.

The process, which commenced early this morning following the receipt and verification of materials at the Benue APC State Secretariat, was completed seamlessly and transparently.

I urge all party members, stakeholders, and Local Government Collation Officers to ensure a peaceful, fair, and credible exercise where every eligible voter has the opportunity to freely exercise their franchise through direct primaries.
