Susan pov
I heard yelling and shouting it was grandma, pa and Debi arguing about marriage AGAIN 😒

I suddenly stopped hearing yelling when i saw a angry looking but cute Debi matching upstairs heading towards our room

I quickly followed her closing the door be hind us. She just lay down on the bed looking at the ceiling blankly

Than i said "what's up sis I heard you guys arguing"
"leave me alone "she said immediately turning her back to me

I stayed looking at her until an idea popped into my head
I slowly walked towards her, climbed the bed and began to tickle her as hard as i can

In a few seconds she began to laugh, i continued tickling her until tears came out of her eyes

Than I stopped and said "are you Still angry" when she gave no reply

I wanted to begin but she said in a jovial way "no, no am not angry anymore" she said laughing

"you little Susan always knows what to cheer me up "she said amused

" well that's what sisters for, now care to talk about what's wrong "i said

" the usual "she replied
Silence reigned for some seconds" you are not thinking of marriage, are you? "

" nope "she replied
" so what of grandma and grandpa " Debi just looked at me and sighed

" you see Susan am not just ready, I need to get a job, assist in paying the rents, taking care of you I am not just ready i don't know why grandma and grandpa just can't see that "i half yelled
In frustration

Everywhere became mute and I heard a sigh from Debi
" look am sorry for yelling at you, you have nothing to do with any this, so am I forgiven" she said with puppy dog eyes

"sure, no problem sis if I was to be In your shoes i will do worst "
I said

Debi happily began to cuddle me and sang me a lullaby

Children!?" i said nervously "yes children, you have got countless

" Suitors that came for your hand in marriage but you keep turning all down"grandma said worried

"yeah i just say no politely, and they just go "I said " politely did you just say politely "grandpa half yelled
" yeah "i said sharply

" each and every suitor that comes here you always play horrible pranks on them that makes them go away "grandpa said

" well I don't remember any pranks "i said sarcastically
" do you remember that one you framed of carrying your phone? "grandpa asked

" umm......yeah I remember that one "i said chuckling
" well it was his and you even threatened to call the police on him "grandma yelled

" come on grandma you can't blame me we both have the same phone cases and unfortunately that day mine was in diamonds
Well he do look like a thief anyway "I said less bordered

" and how do you know how a thief looks like plus your phone cases look completely different yours is bright yellow while he's is black "grandma said raising a brow

" well....... "immediately grandpa cut me up
" ENOUGH!!! grandpa yelled. Seeing the rage in him I kept mute. Well it's not the first time he yelled at me 😒

"enough already, you young lady are they one telling us about marriage not the other way around "

" for Christ sake, do you not like children? " not giving me a chance to reply

" your next suitor will be coming next so you better play nice or else you will have to go and hustle for your self if this didn't work out "he said giving me a glare

" oh i will play nice "i said with an evil smirk and I quickly ran upstairs to go to my room that's when i saw Susan.

Debi was at the porch listening to cool music when Susan tapped her on her shoulder saying "grandma and grandpa said there want to speak with you" "why" Debi asked looking bordered, Susan just gave an I don't know look, Debi just sighed and said "tell them I will be there in a minute" Susan nodded and ran inside. (oh Lord please let it not be what am thinking) she thought in a prayerful way

As I want in I saw my grandpa and ma sitting on the dinning table with their serious faces, I stood at the door looking at them before i reluctantly went to meet them
"you called me "i said they both looked at me the same time and grandpa ushered me to sit down, then I reluctantly sat down and they began
" you know you are 19 going to 20 this year that means you are automatically an adult " grandma said looking at me eye ball to eye ball, with a minute of silence observing my reaction
" and you need to start thinking about your future " grandma said and I just gave a slow nod.
And grandpa continued future like school, job, marriage................"
"OH MY GOD, not again " I said almost immediately rolling my eyes and folding my hands
