The Kogi State Governor-Elect, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo paid a thank you visit to one of the greatest personalities of Okun extraction, Alh. Ganiyu Obatoyinbo at his Abuja home. The two had conversations on how to unite and take the state to another height.
The Governor-Elect assured the statesman of his readiness to build on the legacies of the GYB administration in the state, with emphasis on security, education, healthcare, industrialization, job creation and many others. He said the massive experience of Alh. Obatoyinbo will be highly needed in the Continuity and Consolidation Agenda.
In his response , Alh. Obatoyinbo assured the Governor-elect of his support, thanking Governor Yahaya Bello for giving Kogi a good man as his succession.
The Governor-Elect was accompanied on the visit by the Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem; the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo and the Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Hon. Bashir Abubakar Gegu.
