POLITITCAL ECONOMY OF RESOURCE CONTROL:
Introduction:
In every group, be it institution, club, association, assembly cm society; there must be certain source of income they collectively leverage on for their survival hence, the term resource control.
Resource control is a political Economy term that denotes the ability of the regional or certain geographical delineation to independently harness the natural resources within their jurisdictions and use them judiciously for the betterment of the people.
In equivalent wavelength, the concept of resource control was an offshoot of trinitarianism and the garnishment of Federal system of government as postulated in 1954 under Oliver Littleton constitution.
When the regional government was introduced that saw the untold barkanization of Nigeria into three regions which subsequently paved ways for introduction of Federalism.... The rationale behind this arrangement was to use the local champions whom were comradoes to authoritatively harness internal resources from the regions for the colonial lords for unward transfer of same to Europe to develop their lands. When Lord lugard introduced the policy of indirect rule, it was principally to use 'ourselves to fight ourselves' and to the betterment of the British masters; lugard successfully used the method in Tangayika where he hitherto head sway.
Resource control phenomenon is an economic policy aims at enhancing our living standard and gives room to various regions for self development and business irredentism; resource control principle is coterminous to state Autonomy, Fiscal federalism, community government that are topical in our constitution review debates at the National Assembly.
Lack of polititcal will has made those who are elected to make quality laws are now killing the supposed quality laws on arrival; the lackadaisical attitudes of public officials who are meant to provide solutions to national challenges calls to question the essence of democracy in Nigeria!. We can't afford to throw baby with bath water, let's review some of our controversial bills that are pro- people and patriotically re-introduce them again, because refusing to introduce them is a legislative injustice; an injustice done to one is an injustice done to all.
Being economically free is better than neocolonialism that disguised itself as democracy.

JUDICIALISM AND THE FATE OF POLITITCAL JUMPOLOGISTS:
Introduction:
In every societal setting whether rural, urban or metropolitanism; there must be a kind of administrative arrangement that Will engender peace hence, judicialism.
Judicialism is the selflessly apportioning justice to every one in the society through judicial process.
According to polititcal ladder portfolio, Judiciary is the third estate of the political realm. This realm is made up of legal juggernauts who are intellectually balanced, morally sound, ethically certified and legally hypnotized to guarantee justice in human rights defence industry; the realm is an embodiment of professionals who in legal parlance are christened as learned colleagues who had one way or the other passed integrity tests of astronomical propensity!.
According to the trinitarian arrangement of government that is Federally based, powers flow from the center (Federal government) through the middle (state government) to the grass root (Local government).
In such barkanization of polititcal powers, on the negotiation table, there must be clash of interest culminating in the confrontation and polititcal hullabaloo of sort; in this dilemma, the overbearing workability of Judiciary is brought to the fore to restore peace and justice!!.
But, conversely; the hitherto experience we had over Judiciary in Nigeria has been the auctioning of justice to the highest bidder thereby leaving the proletariat to self help.
The over Bourgeolization of justice by the jurists has in totality reduced the confidence reposed in abinitio on Judiciary by the populace. Upon critical harvest and evaluation of public opinions,we are beginning to see paradigm shift from the old order........
The latest judgement given by justice Iyang Ekwo against Dave Umahi, the former governor of Ebonyi state is a litmus test for politicians and it gives democratic impetus to human rights and adds credence to Independence of Judiciary.
The legal innuendo of technicalities are minimized.
The time to sustain democracy through judicial pronouncements is now!!!.
