Good afternoon guys!!!
Just came online to check up the reactions on my last post and I must admit, the reactions are not appreciative at all. I will just hold on to the next chapter till I get my results.
I'm trying to build up my page but it seems as though you guys are not ready to work with me. I Couldn't even get up to a 100 likes on the last post, why?
This is kinda alarming!

Is it that you guys want the season two of THE CHOSEN ONES FIRST?

I cry for a while before realizing that Melody is waiting for me. I wipe my tears still sniffing. I adjust my school skirt and my red platinum hair which makes me stand out. I start my walk to the cafeteria and pass by Miss Hilda who gives me a ccomforting smile. I only nod and walk pass her. I manage a smile as I head to the cafeteria to meet my Australian bestie.

"Hey! What did you eat?" I ask her as I set my butt on the chair before her. She look up from her phone and stare at me for a while.

"What?" I ask when I grew uncomfortable with the stare.

"Why were you called?" She ask and drop her phone gently on the table.

"Oh that! He, he...... I trail off thinking of what to say. I should I've prepared for her. "Oh yeah, he called to tell me to join the school play for the term saying I'm a good actress, I chuckle slightly to cover up my lie.

"Oh really? But what's his concern? You're a 12 grader, the senior class who is graduating so I don't think you need to join the school play at all," she explain narrowing her brows telling me she doesn't believe me.

"Oh Melody! He did call me for something. You know we are graduating in few months, three months so well, he called to ask me why I chose MMC for college and I explain to him that I'm into singing, I got the voice." I explain, hoping its convincing enough.

"Your lie seems to be perfect but I trust my instinct so I don't believe you. Anyways, its less of my concern since you are choosing to be secretive. What do you want for lunch?" She ask and I shake my head. Thankful that she choose not to bug me.

"I'm not hungry", I mutter the truth. I'm not feeling hungry again cos Mr Dan's words just ruin my mood.

"Why? Cos I remember you kept disturbing my ears with hungry thoughts earlier."

"Dunno know. I will just have chocolate drink." I mutter and she nods. She gets on her feet and leave to get it. I sigh as I watch her converse with the waitress. How do I tell her I'm going to be missing school for now. How? What exactly do I tell her? A tear slip from my eyes on rose thoughts and I quickly wipe them away as Melody approach with my chocolate drink.
"Anything the problem? She ask as set the tray down. She slips back into her seat and watch me open the drink.

"No." I mutter as I begin to sip my drink.
"I seriously don't know what has gotten into you. You always seem to forget that I'm your best friend and you can't keep secrets from me. I mean, you think I don't know you're lying to me and you were crying when I turned a while ago. What's happening Zan? She question again and I shake my head steadily.

"Fine, don't tell me. Just make sure your fine okay?" She resign dissapointedly and I nod. She shake her head and resume on her phone.

"Hey mum!" I greet my mum as I get into the car and at the same time waving at Melody. She have just close from school and my mum is here to pick me up like she's been doing the past few weeks.

"Hey dear! How was school today?" She ask me as I fasten my seatbelt.

"It was fine, I guess." I answer.

"You guess? Is anything wrong?" My mum ask and it was then I took the time to study her.

"Mum, I've you been crying?" I ask her as I remove the dark shade glasses on her face and her eyes are red.

"No dear". She answer quietly. I sigh and take a very long look at her. If someone had told me few months ago that my mum will be looking thin, I would I've object. My mum was a tall chubby woman but now look thin because of the recent problems in our lives. My mum who always take her time to dress and look good now dress anyhow not caring about her appearance. Who would I've thought a billionaires wife will dress as shabbily as this?

"Everything will be fine mum." I assure her holding her hands tightly as I give her a light squeeze. She nod and begins her drive home.

"Bravo! Bravo! Weldon Zan! Your voice came out melodiously matching the tone of the guitar. Weldon, miss" Martha, my music teacher said and I breathe a a sigh of relief. I look around, some of the students are still clapping for me. My eyes met with my friend, Melody and she smile at me. I carry my guitar, putting it into a bag and climb down the stepped podium, all eyes on me.

"Next up, Verose!" Miss Martha yell loudly and Verosa walk up the stairs carrying her piano. She set it down and sits facing us. Her eyes meet with mine and I give her a confident smile. She smile back at me and start with her piano. Her hands work magic on the piano and her voice came out perfectly as she sang the popular, "I will always love you" by Whiteney Houston.

Zanitah Blakes! Zaniyah Blakes! Attention needed in the principals office! The speaker in the hallway blazed out just as I step out of English class.

"Go on. I will be waiting in the cafeteria", Melody my bestie said and I nod. Its actually lunch time and many students are rushing off to the cafeteria. I walk ahead going to the principals office. I adjust my school uniform as I walk into the principals large office.

"Good afternoon, miss Hilda". I greet the school secretary and she smile at me.

"Afternoon Sam. Mr Dan is waiting for you in his office, she mention and I smile at her before proceeding to the office. I make a turn and breath an air of confidence as I come face with the door. I knock softly.

"Come in." The thick voice of the principal greets me as I put on a straight face and walk in. Mr Dan McCauley, the principal of McCauley High School sits on a swerver chair. He is a chubby fat bald man in his early sixties. The office is a large pics on its own. It is painted in the color of the hibiscus with cream flooring, decorated with medals. The office has a beautiful scent if a flower, neat and simple.

"Good day sir". I bow in an humble manner and he mention me to sit. I sit on the chair, my mind wandering for the umpteenth time the call has been made that why will the principal want to see me. A minute of silence pass and no word was said. He is just looking straight ahead.
"Sir". I call out to him and he look at me briefly. He sigh and clear his throat.

"Are you aware that no payment has been made concerning your fees in the school? Mr Dan ask and I feel my heart sink into my tommy.

"Yes, yes sir" I stutter nodding my head.

"Why? Why is that? He ask again and I keep mute. What can I say? That there is no money to pay or what? I ask myself almost on the verge of tears.

"Zaniyah, your father Hinckerly Leonard Blakes is one of the wealthy billionaire here in California so why haven't your fees been paid because I don't understand, Mr Dan ask and I feel a year slip from my eyes.

"What is happening Zan? He ask again and I shake my head.

"Nothing sir, I mutter, my voice breaking.

"I am afraid you have to stay home onwards, at least till your fees are paid. I hope you understand? He ask and I nod.

"You can take your leave", he state after a brief pause. I nod and get from my seat.

"Thank you sir", I said bowing a little before walking out. Once outside his office, I sniff a little before breaking down in uncontrollable tears.

The light shines brightly blinding the foresight of the protectors. A great turmoil of wind brings the anticipated one, THE GUARDIAN! In her usual white material, she looks angelic and beautiful.

"Welcome"! Kira mutter as her eyes turn milky.

Thanks! Migthy PROTECTORS of Dakilando! I'm so glad to meet you all in person today. Oh my, You're just the replicas of them all, the guardian said with brim of tears in her eyes.

Selena, you're to be Rana! Janelle, Yima! Sam, Muna! Bryan, Edan! Noel, Kana! You five represents the past PROTECTORS! I've been watching you since you were born. All that happened to you was fate! Simply, fate. I'm Carly! The guardian explains and the group shiver.

Carly? You mean the one that saved the princess? Sam ask and the group nod to back her up.

Yes, I am the one! Her tone echoes.

Does it mean, Kira is the princess? Bryan ask and Janelle gasp.

She is! The only princess of DAKILANDO! Carly yells.

Wow! But how can that be? Sam ask feeling outrageous in shock.

It will always be! Fix your gazes on,the wall and see the past! She orders and Kira smile.

FLASH BACK

Carly arrives in the human world after changing her appearance. Her hands hold onto the crying baby in her hand. Suddenly, echoes of words from faraway fill her ears. She immediately sets towards the place.

I'm sorry madam, but you lost the baby! The doctor said to a loud wailing woman. Carly stands at a distance and watch the scene.

How can I loose the baby? Not again Lord! After years of waiting, I loosed my princess again! Why Lord? She begins to cry while the friendly doctor tries to console her.

No, no, this is not fair. What do I tell my husband now? That I lost my two months old baby due to my carelessness? She wail out.

Its okay Leah, the doctor consoles.

Its not okay! She scream and cries more. Carly watch her and immediately feels pity for her. She stare at the child in her hands and begins to walk towards the wailing woman who is now deserted cos the doctor has been,called to work.

Here, I gift her to you. Take good care of her cos I will be back for her, Carly mutter as she place the baby on Leah's lap.

The wailing woman, Leah stares at her in disbelief not understanding a thing. Her head snaps to the baby and look back at the woman who gift her the child.

Are you okay madam? She ask in disbelief.

Just take the child and go home to your husband. Don't worry about the resemblance cos it will be changing to your dead daughter's before you get home. Now, go! Carly order and Leah gulps. She stare at Carly for a short time before quickly getting up with a thousand thanks. She immediately leave the hospital before the woman changes her mind.

Leah kept staring at the baby as she drove back home. Her mouth open in shock when the baby eventually brought out her dead daughters resemblance.

What is happening? She ask herself in,absolute shock. She kept staring at the baby in disbelief till she got home and just like Carly had said, her husband didn't suspect a thing.

PRESENT!

Oh my goodness! Sam,exclaims.

I will be taking back my resemblance once I get to Dakilando. Kira mutter to Sam who stare at her in shock.

That was so cool! The past seeing thing! Janelle said excitement in her voice.

It is but before we get to Dakilando, you need training and practice with your powers. You have a lot to learn, you have a lot to do, Carly mutter and the group nods.

Being a protector ain't going to be easy cos Dakilando is in danger now. Its only your combinations that can open Dakilando. The old protector sealed it closed. Our mystical book is also in danger cos Asvawel, the enslaver is looking for it. We need to act fast cos only your intellects can find the book and once we do, Dakilando will be saved! Carly explains.

Wow! I love the mission! Bryan whispers to Noel.

Sounds like what I've always wanted, Noel whispered back.

So, are you ready to begin your training? Carly ask.

If I rush this story, it ain't be good so I want to take it slowly. The season two will be coming out in April cos I want to take my time on it. It requires thinking and research so...... You guys should chill.

I Will entertain you guys with another story for the meantime while I get season two ready.
I may post the synopsis of the story tonight. Its an old write up of mine though.

And slowly the book closed before them.

Wow!!! They all exclaim.

So, who's the princess? Selena ask as she glance at her team mates.

I think its our duty to find her, Noel reply as he ruffles his hair.

So....... Samantha was saying when suddenly she felt a surge of energy rush through her making her look filled. It happened to the rest of the team mates to.

What just happened? Bryan asked.

Who knows? Sam replied with a smug expression. Janelle yawn and draws a chair to sit down. Loud footsteps draw their attention and from a corner appears the Librarian.

There you all her! The library is closing now please, the woman said and the groupie pass each other a surprise look.

So soon? Selena ask.

What do you mean dear? I think you should check your time, the woman answered tiredly. Bryan brought out his phone to check the time.

Oh my God! Its 07:00pm already, He gasp.

Wow! I did not even realize that, Sam mutter.

Me too, Janelle reply.

We better leave, Noel say as he gets on his feet.

Good, the woman reply and spurn around to,leave.

Everyone pick their belongings and set to,leave when Sam stop them.

Guys, what do we do with this book? She ask cocking her hips.

You think we can sneak it out? Noel ask Bryan as he collects it from Sam.

We should be able to, Bryan say and urge him to hide it.

Damn!! I'm hungry! Janelle complained.

Me too, the girls whine as they stroll out of the library without the woman suspecting a thing and of,course they followed the protocol of signing out.

They all move to their respected cars, Sam in Bryan's. He was driving home when Sam reminded him of her bike at the Cafe.

You think we can grab a snack? Bryan asks as he halts his car in front of the bubbling cafe.

I wish, Sam mutter and gets down with Bryan. She smile when she sight her bike at the exact corner she left it. They heed into the Cafe and grabbed hamburger. They mubbled on it quickly before heading out.

Bye, Sam mutter as she give him a one sided hug before getting on her bike. She wears her helmet, kick the bike to life, waved at Bryan before hitting the road.

I'm home! Sam yell as she walk into the living room to meet Kira seated enjoying her plate of pasta and steaming meatballs and sauce.

You can't imagine how much. Sam mutter as she devour Kira's meal.

Mehn! You're soo good! Sam mutter after a while as she chew on meatballs.

So good in what? Kira asks in a teasing voice.

In cooking if course. Did Cassie come? Sam ask mouthful.

Yeah, she did. She requested about you and I told her you're hanging out with Bryan! Kira mutter with a wink.

Bitch!!! Sam curse and Kira laugh.

How was your meeting? Kira ask as Sam drops her fork. She just finished the meal.

Hmmm, interesting I guess. Sam mutter and starts her narration.

I was hoping you I'd know, Sam mutter disappointed.

Well, guess again. She's standing right in front of you, Kira said with a laugh.

FLASH BACK

What's wrong dear? Queen Linda of DAKILANDO asks her husband who is pacing around the room of his chambers.

Dear, a bad news blew off today, the king said and starts to explain everything that transpired between him and the protectors.

So its true! I had thought its silly rumours when I overhead some of the workers discussing it. What do we do? Queen Linda ask as she begins to panic.

I've started to make some arrangements. I want you to leave Dakilando with my daughter tomorrow. You both must he kept safe, the king explain.

But where shall we go? The queen ask.

Dinah and Giran will guard you to Arremca tomorrow. I have sent words to my friend. So, you have to wake up early tomorrow, the king explain sternly.

Okay dear. I pray everything will be fine, the Queen pray as she rubb her temples.

Go bring me my daughter. I want to seal her gifts. I have a hunch it will be for the best, the king said and the queen did as told without complaining.

The queen brought back with her a two months old baby girl in her stroller sleeping peacefully. She has long eyelashes, milky skin and beautiful silky hair.

My angel! You will rule DAKILANDO when its time. I feel so bad to do this to you now but its for the best, so my hunch says, the king said as he bent low and plants a kiss on her forehead.

Slowly, the king begins to chant and urge his wife to join him. He as well transfer his manly traits to his daughter.

Done my princess. Take her back! He yell as,he mindlink his most trusted guards. He warn him to be up for the task tomorrow.

💧🌊💧🌊💧

Loud yells, screams of kids, eruption of peace disrupted DAKILANDO the next morning. Dakilando warriors quickly set to work, each putting his family safe first.

Linda, you have to,leave now, the king beg the unpertubing queen.

What about you Jared? I certainly can't leave you behind, the queen cry out with her sleeping daughter in her hands.

Dinah, Giran, guard them out. Do make sure they are protected. Keep my family safe! The king orders and push the crying queen out if the secret border.

The two guard stands beside the queen and quietly lead her out if the warful city now. Suddenly, a strange winds blow them from behind. Dinah, the female guard,quickly used her reflexes to block the strong wind.

With a strong force, she sends back the wind to the perpetrator.

Hold it right there. None of you shall leave, the perpetrator said as he walk towards the queen and her now crying daughter.

Who are you to tell us that? Giran ask and with hands stretched out sends the men flying off on the floor. Again, they take to their heels with the now crying baby and whimpering queen.

Unfortunately, a strong wind hit the queen in the eye immediately sending her blind. She yell out in pain and begin to cry. She clutch onto her baby tightly as she felt a slash stain of blood on her lips. She immediately knew that there's a bloody war in front of her. Her baby cry out and with her blind eyes she begin to crawl with her baby. She screamed when a powerful force held her down and takes away her baby, the princess.

My baby!!! She scream out as blood ooze out of her eyes.

Your highness! A mystical creature of a bird came mysteriously and takes her on her back.

My baby Carly, she scream again as she rest on the mystical creatures back. Carly, the mystical creature immediately sets to fighting for the princess. Luckily, she was able to get her release and immediately sent her to the human world.

My baby Carly! The queen yell as she flew away in the midst of the war.

She's been sent to the human world my queen, Carly reply and dodge the trees sent to her. Suddenly, an arrow sent by one of the men pierced into the queens back and she yell out.

Carly took all in her in fighting with the queen but she failed. She fell flat down with the blind queen.

I'm sorry your highness, Carly cried as she said chants to heal the queen. She tried to heal the queen but her shaking hands proved abortive.

Carly, take care of my princess. Run and watch over her. She's to rule the kingdom, the queen said and begin to cough out blood. Carly cry out as she watch the queen pass away. She gave a powerful scream as a wage of energy fill her and she immediately takes off again to leave Dakilando with her pains trying to keep the queens last words.
