My political experience spanned many fields, the Treasurer of Alimosho Local Government during Social Democratic Party (SDP) between 1989 and 1993; President of Alimosho Federal Constituency during Alliance for Democracy (AD); and Ward Chairman during Action Congress (AC) era.

Others include Chairman of all ward chairmen in Alimosho Federal Constituency during Action Congress of Nigeria between 2003 and 2006 before becoming Vice-Chairman, APC Egbe-Idimu LCDA.

In 2013, I bacame the Director General, Senator Adeola Olamilekan Solomon FCA (YAYI) Campaign Organization forLagos West Senatorial District of Lagos State which comprises of 56% of Lagos State, 187 wards and 4,586 polling units in Lagos State. Where We led the party to gallant Victory.

On the 19th of October, 2015, I became the Special Adviser to The Governor of Lagos State on Civic Engagement.
On the 11th of January 2018, I was redeploy to ministry of Housing as a Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing

[6/14, 9:02 PM] KEHINDE JOSHEP: As a Special Adviser to the Governor on civic engagement and as a go- between the state government, political parties at the National, State and Local Government level and members of the public, I was able to bring Government to the people of Lagos State especially to the people of Alimosho Federal Constituency.
[6/14, 9:02 PM] KEHINDE JOSHEP: I arrange stakeholders meeting between the legislative and the Executive Arms of Government both at the State and Federal level where the Government formulate and evaluate policies relating citizens welfare and stakeholders cohesion and engagement.

More so, the people of our great party and the residents of Alimosho Federal Constituency benefited massively from financial Assistance from the office of civic engagement when I was the Special Adviser.
[6/14, 9:02 PM] KEHINDE JOSHEP: I was able to resolve a lot of community conflict and issues by promoting community engagement with the people that believe that their rights have been fringe upon.
Examples are the computer village criss and the land conflict at Eti- Osa community.
This led to a strong harmonization between the Obas and State Government.

I am Kehinde Olaide Joseph popularly known as KJ.
The journey started in 1989 in Alimosho Federal Constituency. I was made Alimosho youth treasurer in 1991.
At d dissolution of political parties as result of June 12 annulment, we had a zero system, I contested and won election as a delegate from my ward. After which 5 political parties were flagged off under late Gen Sani Abacha regime.
I'm one of those that believe in the ideology of late chief Awolowo, we re led by ALH lateef Jakande . I'm also an ardent follower of late Chief Bola Ige. After d demise of Gen Sani Abacha, new political parties were floated under Gen Abdul Salam Abubakar one of which was Alliance for Democracy ( AD) which I became a member through Afenifere. I eventually became the Publicity Secretary of my ward, ward ' D' in 1998/99. We later formed youth group knows as Alimosho youth mainstream (AYM) which I was appointed as the President General of the youth in Alimosho Federal Constituency.
Our great party later metamorphosed to APC from AD --- AC ----ACN and now APC. I was the ward chairman, the chairman of all the 36 ward chairmen in Alimosho Federal Constituency and also the Secretary of Egbe - Idimu LCDA leadership forum ( The Apex Body of Egbe - Idimu LCDA).
I was the former Vice Chairman APC Egbe - Idimu LCDA before my state appointment as the Special Adviser to Lagos State on Governor on civic engagement and now the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Housing.
