Summary of the summary of Sen. Wadada’s Interim Scorecard and HEARTS
I have finally finished summarizing the summary of Sen. Wadada Interim Scorecard and his HEARTS Agenda.
Although it is still more than 30 pages which is still big, but we are able to pulled out hard figured facts, from facilitation of over 122 documented direct employments, to over 12,000 Agricultural interventions. It give peace to mind that large portion of his attention is channeled towards education and utilization of it through employment, it is so, because any other thing in life fall in between these two.
As for HEARTS AGENDA, our focus is largely on extracting the initiatives embedded within, again, the agenda is special because it’s practical in nature, for example, there is no promise of one electrification grid, but mini grids, the plan recognizes both formally educated and non with initiatives like mentorship programme and skill acquisition programme respectively.
We embark on this work for two reasons:
1: despite huge efforts from the Wadada media team, his record need to be re-echoed largely because firstly he is currently a senator of one zone out of three zones of the state, and the other two zones may not feel the impacts directly as the zone he is representing, and secondly because our media space was filled with alot of noise before primary elections.
2: to used it as guide in our subsequent campaign materials
